Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

My status online still says submission received for the regular residency. is anyone still getting calls for interviews? I know some have theirs this week, but wondering if I should still hold out hope.

I just got an email today for an interview May 7th at 12:30 P.M. My status was changed to "applicant review" on the Scripps website.

My interview on the 2nd is at 1pm and the 7th is at 12:30pm, congrats to you as well! I agree hopefully I will be more relaxed for the second...so keyed up right now!

My interview on the 2nd is at 9am and the one on the 7th is at 1pm. Congrats to you. I'm hoping this will really benefit us seeing that we should be well prepared and have an idea of what the interview will be like by the time the second one happens. What time are your interviews?? Good luck!!

I got an email today! May 7th at 1pm. Congrats to all of you as well and to those who have yet to get anything, keep your heads up! Hopefully they are not done yet. Did anyone hear how many people they are interviewing?

@kamsmom30- We have the same time. I wonder if we will be in the panel interview together...congrats, btw!

Congrats to all who have gotten interview emails! When I just about gave up hope yesterday, I received an email today for an interview May 7th for the August cohort residency program. Don't give up hope yet fellow RNs! They are still contacting people!

No. I want to say I applied to cardiac care, but I know I didnt apply to oncology since I though they would want some kind of experience with oncology. I've had internships on a cardiac floor.

Congrats to all who've gotten interviews!

I submitted my app around 10:30-11am and my status was submission received. Then late last week sometime, my status changed to "no longer under consideration" while a friend from nursing school who graduated same time as me (5/2011) and took the RN Refresher (like I did) has a status that says "applicant review." I don't understand why she'll probably get an interview and I didn't. She said she submitted her app around 11 or so. I'm sure I made the 500 cutoff, but don't understand why some get picked and others don't.

Anyways, good luck to all who interview tomorrow!

FYI, I also put in my app that I was referred to this program by an internal candidate who knows me & knows she referred me.
