Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

So weird my friend got an email for a interview the day after the applications were posted and his is May 6th I got an email thursday the 25th and my interview is this Thursday May 2.....Not sure if that means anything different. This is my second time applying and 2nd interview so hopefully I get it this time around.....Good Luck to everyone who got interviews.

Are you sure your interviews are for the same programs? I have an interview for both the memorial DEU program and the residency program. The first interview I was emailed for is on may 7th and the second email I received was for an interview on May 2nd. I think they are doing the DEU interviews second but for some reason sent out those emails first making everything seem a little backwards and confusing....regardless......good luck to you all;)

Still be patient...the nurse recruiter told me that they can take a couple weeks to make calls and schedule interviews, but their process is fast and you will know if you are accepted by June 6th.. Also she said that in order to make the 500 cut-off, you should apply within the first 6 hours usually, but sometimes they only interview from the first 200..just depends on how many people are qualified. But stay positive, because anything can happen!

I thought I bombed the talentmine thing too but you seriously never know what they are looking for. It's so ambiguous. Their website says "5/13 thru 5/17: Interviews for fall 2013 residency program" Don't give up hope. I doubt they were processing over the weekend. Good luck and keep your heads up.

Also check your spam folder. I never received a call. I just got an email with a pre-scheduled date and time.

I wish they would post that info online...I'm pretty sure I didn't make the first 200 (or even 500). I started my app just after 8am, but I took time to think out my supplemental question answers and by the time i finished the talent mine assessment and simulation, it was just before noon. oh well, what is done is done and out of my hands now!

I have an email from them from 2 hours ago for an interview next Monday! I am so excited, dont lose hope everyone, they are still sending out emails! Yay!!!!!

just for everyone's info i did not receive an email confirmation when i applied, my app was finished around 1040, and my status as far as I know has remained at "submission received"

I am also interviewing on those exact days! What time are your interviews? My DEU interview is on the 7th and the Regular Residency interview is on the 2nd! Goodluck to you!

I am going to say that I am just absolutely shocked that I too received an email for an interview! This is nuts. I am going to school out of state (as in 3,000 miles away out of state) but I will come anyway.

I feel nervous, as I just got turned down by another hospital that I just interviewed at last week. Does anyone know what this four-person interview will be like? Any input would be gratefully appreciated, thank you!
