Scripps New Grad Nurse Residency 2013

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello fellow new grads!

I'm starting this post to round up all the applicants for the 2013 cohort at Scripps in San Diego. I called HR today and they were rather tight-lipped about when the application would post, and was told "It will post in about 30-45 days" and to "keep checking the website". Enlightening, isn't it? Also to those who applied for the last round and will be re-applying, any tips you want to share for us newbies? thanks and I look forward to hearing from everyone that's just as stressed as I am.

I also interviewed on Friday and my application wasn't showing immediately after I got home. It shows my last one. Maybe there's a issue with the system bc I doubt they would have made a decision and deleted my application 10 mins after my interview.

Yeah my application like never showed really it showed just my one from last cohort. And I got an interview and everything (even though it didn't show before) so I think it's fine! Congrats every one!! So stoked for you all and good luck to everyone still waiting :) the phones are gonna keep ringing!

Hi Everyone!!

Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of looking up a scripps new grad thread earlier!! Definitely would have been nice to have people to talk to during this stressful process!

I got a call today for Green (I don't think they told me what unit...or I might have just been too excited to listen)! For anyone curious, I had my interview on Monday morning and my app status hasn't changed yet. Anyways, just wanted to say hello to my future coworkers! And keeping everyone else in my prayers! Good luck guys!

Congratulations, pinx.

Congratulations to all of those who made it! That has to feel amazing!

I really hope they are still making calls. I may end up at Scripps tonight for heart palpitations! Ha! I am going to keep praying for all of us that are waiting. Again, congratulations to those that got accepted!

I am offering my prayers as well. I do admit to you all, since I feel I can do so, that my confidence has dropped several pegs this afternoon.

Sending good love and energy into the universe for you all.

Coriander,

I can completely relate. I am feeling like I already got the rejection call. It is so hard!

Yea I can't help but feel like all the calls were made already unfortunately. There weren't that many people to notify. Although I can't stress how happy I am for everyone that did receive a call!

For sure! I am so happy for everyone and by no means do I want to take away anyones joy. It is just nice to have others to relate to. I wish I could do the interview over, I want this sooooo bad!

Thanks for the understanding. I want this for all of us, and am beyond thrilled for those who received their dream jobs.

This was my 5th interview. I felt it went really well, and was assured as much. However, if it's not in the plan for me, I have to accept that. I go into each of these promising myself and God that I will remain humble. I think this time I really got carried away with everything and was way too confident, bordering on feeling assured.

I have been taught this lesson 4 times so far - even if everything looks great on the surface, there is often a lesson to be learned underneath. Maybe this time I'm meant to really learn this.

It's late, and I'm rambling. Blessings and love to you. I wish for good news tomorrow for us all, and will be grateful for this thread, for bringing good people together.

Thank you for your kind words, you are right God has a plan for all of us. Just keep the faith and and believe!
