Scripps Health New Grad Residency August/October 2023

Hi guys! Just wanted to start a post for the cohort for August/October 2023. Just curious if anyone would know the answer to this but it says on their FAQs PDF that there is only positions in units like med/surge or telemetry however during the application, there were choices like medical acute and surgical acute. Does anyone know if those units are hiring or not? And if we could apply to multiple units?

I got that same email today just a little later then others!

I got mine! yay maybe because my last name with Z LOL so what happens now they call or email for interview?

I think it just means we were referred to the hiring department then if we fit the criteria they call/email us for an interview!

Did people who got the email's application status change at all or add anything to the recent activity?

Those who have gotten an email, do you remember what day you submitted your application? I applied on the very last day at like 8pm and haven't gotten an email yet. Wondering if they're going in order of when applications were received.

I got an email yesterday afternoon and I applied April 17th!

Holy guacamole feeling less hopeful LOL. Also congrats!! ? My app was in the 22nd then I got the video thing which they said to do by April 25th so I submitted that April 25.

Don't stress yet... we don't know what their process is, or if they're trying to get August grads in first, then October.  They have to go through sooo many and if yours came in later they may not have had the chance.  They have to spend 30-60 per candidate.... And the literally got HUNDREDS.  Keep the faith. ?☀️ momma bear

Hi! I also did not receive an email yet and finished my application the last day. The hiring manager said they receive such a large volume of applications and that they are still going over them and submitting them for review so don't stress yet ?

Okie!! Thanks for the response ? Theres hope!! Lolll I feel like im applying to nursing school all over again

I also have not received an email yet and submitted my app the very last day! I also saw that they'll email us if they chose not to move us forward, so I think either way when they go over our app they'll send us an email. So if we haven't gotten an email yet, I don't think they've reviewed ours yet!
