3 Sciences in 1 Semester????

hi all,

next semester i am supposed to take microbiology, anatomy and physiology 2, organic chemistry, and one nursing class! in my opinion, this seems ridiculous....is this suicide if i take these 3 sciences together in one semester????? :crying2: :uhoh3: :confused: i really appreciate any opinions~~thank you!

Micro, A&P, O-Chem and a Nursing class... Add one valium drip complete with IV pole for maximum portability and I'd say you'll do just fine. And if you don't, you won't care!

WOW! No way would I want to take them all together- I really think I'd go crazy. I would definately see if you can get something changed around or possibly add a semester to cut that load in half.

I have found A&P and micro to be very time consuming and wouldn't even want them together, much less 2 more on top of them.

Can you do it? Probably, but you will have zero time for your self. You will be studying non stop.

It is possible. Everyone told me I was crazy for taking A&PII, Biochem and Micro in the same semester......and I have to admit I felt a little coo-coo after it was over:selfbonk:, but I did it!! The thing that I suggest is that you stay on top of all of your work. Falling behind has a domino effect...once it happens you spend so much time trying to catch up in one class that it puts you behind in all others. I typically get awesome grades and think that I would have been able to do a little better (grade wise) if I had taken them apart but I still passed them all with 1 A and 2 B's. The bottom line is you know what your limits are. You just have to work a little harder.

I'm taking APII, Micro, and Pharm in the fall. I knew it was going to be really tough, but this thread almost makes it seem impossible. :o Good thing I'm not working this semester.

In order to take organic chemistry, don't you need to take Chm1045 General chemistry 1 and Chm 1046 general chemistry 2 prior to organic? Organic Chemistry itself is suicide,.

I took

anatomy

Micobiology

Physiology

I also took

Photojournalism

African dance class

Pre-Req requirement is 3.5 total for these three classess

I passed with 3 A's and 2 B's (we had fires and had to evacuate) and my micro teacher was crazy literally got pulled out of class on 3 seperate occassions with the Dean giving the final.

Fun semester you can do it
