I bought the ATI study guide. I whizzed through Reading and English. I had to put 3 days work into the math but I'm not confident that I'll do fine on it but this science is unbelievable.
I only 2 1/2 weeks notice that I would have to take the test and then I had to wait 5 days for the study guide. Now I'm trying to cram in all this science. It's Human Body Science, Chemical and Phsyical Science and Life Science but from reading the forums the test actually has earth science on it and that's not even in my study guide.
So how hard is the science really and what is a passing score for this test? Do you have to pass each individual section or pass the test as a whole?
I'm freaking out!

Does your school heavily consider the science portion? Most schools only look at the math and reading scores.
I really have no idea. If they don't then I'll do great but if they do I'm worried.

i did the teas test back in june of this year. it was easy, don't waste too much time studying. its all general stuff, you will be surprised to know. i did not study one thing and i passed all the sections. i was not allowed to use a calculator on the math section.
I've been out of school for 12 years though and I really don't remember most of this science at all:(
just do that online practice exam and you should do fine.

The science portion was pretty difficult. It seemed like the questions were extremely random and hardly any of them reflected material learned in pre-nursing classes. In fact, most of the questions were related to subjects that weren't even prerequisites for nursing school! So my friends and I had never even taken the classes we were being tested on.
Did you pass it?
I took the online ATI assessment and the questions on it weren't anywhere near as hard as what's in the ATI practice guide. Now I'm even more confused. Is the actual test more like the ATI Guide practice test or more like the online practice assessment?
I don't know because I didn't use any study materials for the TEAS. I just went in and took it.
I did pass (an 87.6%), but I would have liked to get higher and my science score was DEFINITELY the worst out of everything.

Quick question; how many physics questions did you guys get on the TEAS? and did they focus mainly on "motion" because I doubt they are going to ask thermodynamic questions, but I am just making sure.
I don't think I had any physics questions on the TEAS. If I had any, it was only one or two and I don't remember them. I'd say a good8 80% of my TEAS was geology and like...insect biology and crap.
