I'm done with prereq's and looking for schools to apply to. Already, I applied to UM Baltimore which made me take the TEAS. I ended up getting 99th percentile!
What other big city schools look at your TEAS score? Thanks! I'm just looking to apply to many schools since they are so competitive now.

I would suggest that you go to your state's accredited schools website. There, you can get webpage addresses for the schools that intrest you and find out what the criteria for acceptance consists of.
Good luck and great TEAS score!!!

Not sure of anyother schools that use the TEAS, but what GPA do you have to go with that 99?
prereq 3.7
combined with classes I took when I was 18... 3.0

first of all, let me congratulate you for having scored so high on the teas test; you are truly smart to say the least.
i took the teas last month and passed english, math and science with flying colors, but failed the reading portion by 3 points. as you can imagine, i still feel so sad since my greatest desire is to become a registered nurse to make the difference in the life of others. i retook the reading a couple of weeks ago, and failed it again, but this time i scored about 30 points lower even though they were the same paragraphs about the sleepwalking, hibernation and migraine headache. i do not have the right words to express the way i feel since i considered myself a good reader and besides i have never taken any remedial courses. to make a long story short, i am going to retest next monday and would like to find out if you are kind enough to provide me with some hints in order to pass the reading since this will be my last opportunity.
p.s. for some reason, i thought that the reading passages for sleepwalking and migraine headache as well as the one about hibernation were to entertain, but i was analyzing the information and have come to the conclusion that they are in fact informative.
respectfully,

Not really a big city school, but Cal State Bakersfield looks at teas scores (Bakersfield is about 2 hours away from Los Angeles). They dont even take into account classes that arent pre-reqs so they wouldnt even look at the 3.0.
