I am a student at JCC Tech school in Louisville. Nursing is a second degree for me. I chose that since I have to pay for this degree myself. The tech/community schools are less expensive than the university. There were alot of programs to evaluate and choose from when I was making the decision to enter nursing. Good luck with your decision.
Hi everyone Im new to the whole nursing thing,Heres a little about myself, I am in lexington KY and my name is Tiller, I am 19 and a male, I have my GED so I dont know if I have to take any other tests? Thanks and its nice to meet you all!!
I was wondering what some good schools are around me to go to for nursing? I have a GI Bill that helps me pay for my college, as well so thats good
So any suggestions would be apprecciated
Wow- you're 19 and already have the GI bill?
I guess it depends on what degree you want. I'd say since you have the GI bill, getting your ASN or BSN would be the best option for you. U of K has a BSN program, and Bluegrass Comm. & Tech College has an ASN program. That should get you started. Go to their websites and request information to help you decide where you want to go.
