School Stethoscope Suggestions?

Hey guys! I'm starting nursing school in 30 days (*panic*). We've got to buy a dual-head stethoscope before school starts, and I've been looking all over. Found loads and loads on various sites.

Does anyone have suggestions for a good one to start with? What are you using in school, yourselves? Especially if you bought it online, as that's probably what I'll have to do.

My first stethoscope was 5 dollars,and its works very well and i have no problem hearing thru it. I bought a more expensive one, and i cant hear anything thru it. the cheap ones work just the same even better than the expensive ones. hope this helps.

Yes they do tend to disapper, dont let steth out of your sight, tie around neck if you have to, theives dont care if its ingraved. thats why i would buy cheap, they work just the same, and are made exactly the same as expensive ones. just fyi.

Littman Classic II S.E. is the way to go. I wouldn't buy a cardiology unless you plan to go into cardiac or a specialty area where it may be a necessity

the classic II S.E. is nice since you wont know what you are specializing into
