Hi fellow nurses!
It's been a while since I've been here. Hope you're all doing well.
I come asking for some assistance... My school's admin would like to send out a newsletter from the school nurse, touching on topics like nutrition (eating breakfast, taking vitamins, healthy food choices) and cold/flu season.
Have any of you ever done this?
What would you put in your newsletter?
TIA
My middle school puts out a monthly newsletter with pictures and goings-on within the school, so I put my little blurb in there.
I keep it short and sweet...nutrition, district policies on medication, when to stay home, lice, ER vs acute care vs doctors office are a few, healthy recipies.
I haven't received any feedback good or bad so far, so I hope it is read and not just skipped over.

If all I had to do was one small section, I would probably put something about flu season as well, even something about cold vs flu because parents and school staff think EVERYTHING is the flu when winter rolls around.
