Look around your local community. Are you attending a private school or public school? Most public schools have a list of scholarships that are available to their students - my local community college has several that are available just to Allied Health & Nursing students, plus others that those students might be able to apply for as well (non-traditional student, Hispanic student, etc). Check at the local hospitals to see if they offer any scholarships - our local hospital offers scholarships via the ladies auxiliary board. Check with other organizations that you might belong to - private clubs like Amvets, Elk's, Moose Lodge, etc - most of those here offer scholarships. Check with big companies that are local to you - look on their website and you may find something, if not, place a personal call. A lot of local businesses like to give back to their community.
There's usually not an easy way around putting in the grunt work to find the scholarships.
Thank You I will do that.
