I just found out I have won my very first scholarship...so shocked! I had to write an essay and whatnot, and really didn't think I had a chance, with all the people who were turning in their scholarship applications, but I got one of the 3 I applied for! I am to receive $400 and I'm so using it towards my book expenses! I'm so ecstatic! This is my first award in college, and very anxious! This is the first time I'll ever have attended an award ceremony and walked on stage for it too! Shocked.

Thanks! I only applied for the scholarships that my college offers. Check your colleges website and they may have a list of the scholarships they offer each semester. I haven't done any outside of the school as of yet. :)

Oh! Ok thats cool. Yeah, my school has scholarships but not as many pertaining to Nursing. It would be cool to get one, but my chances are paying through loans. Atleast the core classes.
