Hey everyone! I just scheduled my NC3 for April 19th.. way later than what I would like! By the time I got around to scheduling, there are no available appointments at any conveniently located testing centers. Anyone else had this problem? It's crazy... I was hoping to do it about a week earlier, and it's not going to happen. Oh well! At least it's scheduled and I have a deadline.
Hope everyone is having a nicer spring than what we're having here in Michigan!

Erin,
I have also had the same problem. There were a decent amount of openings until about April, then it gets very limited clear through to July. Right now June is already nearly full. With the testing site being far, working nights and only 2 days off a week, I can't just skip down and take the darn thing any old time.
I have all my nursing exams paid for and scheduled so at least I could schedule them on my day off. It would probably less stressful if I had not decided I try and be CPNE eligible by no later than the end of June. The lack of testing dates hasn't made that goal very simple. Still seems more doable than running to class and clinicals 4 days a week, on top of the price of a college credit and a gallon of gas.
Spring here in Pa has been cold and wet. Better weather can't be far around the corner.

I usually got something close to the date/time I wanted, but I was usually testing on a weekday, mid-afternoon, and I guess that's not such a popular time in the DC area. Lucky for me! :) Test days were pretty much all-day events, though -- the testing center was about 1.5 hours from home, so we usually made a day of it.
Spring here has been chilly, but not too bad! I can't complain.

This was an issue for me for 1 or 2 exams. Then I ended up scheduling them all ahead of time. I was taking them 2-3 weeks apart and had them all scheduled. This way, if I felt I wasn't ready for the exam, I could cancel it and take the appt for the next exam I already had scheduled. Then I didn't have to worry about finding a date and time at the last minute.

This is the time of year that students are taking the SAT, ACT, or GRE for the upcoming Fall semester. I know the Prometric in my area provides those exams, so that may be why they're all booked up right now.
Good luck to all the EC testers out there. :)
