It really depends on where you are. I haven't dealt with the "political crap" that I am aware of yet...

I agree with the others-- the drama, gossip and nasty politicking aspect of the job are over-represented here on the boards. I get along fine (most of the time) by just refusing to play that way. Usually the dysfunctional nutjobs come along one at a time and don't last too long.

It sounds scary now but as you get into your education you will find that it gets easier. The best thing that you can have in nursing is common sense. If you have that, you will do fine.
