Scared to test after fail 3 times already!

Published

I graduated may of 2013. I've already tested 3 times failing at 265. My report all 3 times stated "near passing". I test Friday the may 29 2015 but I'm so scared. Scrated of letting myself down, my family and coworkers. I feel like I'm ready but every other page I read I'm learning something new! Don't know why I'm postings, guess I'm just looking for words of encouragement!!

Don't give up keep trying

You made it this far... DONT GIVE UP!

You will never be prepared enough. That's the nature of the beast. Do those practice questions with a focus on your weak areas and those priority questions. And maybe don't tell anybody else when your next test date is...can be anxiety provoking. Just take one question at a time. Read all the options. For the select all that apply questions, treat each option as a true/false question. Select all that apply questions will never be all of them. The goal is to prevent harm from coming to the patient. Every order you need is available to you in NCLEX world. Notify the provider is usually a good choice but what do you need to do first? There should be an important nursing intervention that can be done first. UAPs cant draw blood or put in foleys or IVs. LPNs cant give IVP meds or do initial assessments. Last but not least, don't leave your patient.

HEY FRIEND!

Please don't be scared! I'm same as you, I recently failed my third try. But after a week of sulking I'm back in reviewing again. Stop being sad and start being AWESOME! We will pass this exam! God bless!

What materials are you using?? I am going for the 4th time too

Well said Lev! You took the words right out of my mouth. :)

Hi, do not be scare, I pass the NCLEX on May 4, 2015. It was my 4 times, you have expense more times doing question, Kaplan Qbank is an excellent source and read the rationale of each question. Good lock

Hey pick yourself up and study harder the rest God will handle it read my testimony under plastic 100%.

keep your head up, I just took my nclex for the fourth time on may 26th. the first time I took it I got to 265 questions, the second time after taking Kaplan I got 180 questions. When I found out I failed I took the hurst live review and re-took Kaplan live review and failed at 78 questions. I was getting more and more depressed thinking I was doing worse and worse, this time I did picnomics and prayed a lot, I ended up doing 265 questions again, I think I was the most nervous when I got to question 75 afraid it was going to shut off. needless to say, I found out I passed yesterday, so keep trying, know what you need to work on, and figure out how you need to learn it, for me I needed to see pictures (picnomics) made it so much easier for me to remember content. best of luck. if you need help just send me a message and ill be happy to help out where I can.

What do you think about picmonic? Did you pay for it, and where is the best part to register?
