Hey everyone! I know it's a little early but I thought it would be nice to create a little chat/forum for all San Bernardino Valley students who are wanting to apply this Sept/Oct 2022 for the Spring 2023 Nursing Cohort! Feel free to use this forum to your advantage! Good luck to everyone applying this year. ?
I'll check back in August but in the meantime I will be studying for the TEAS!

That's awesome! And thank you for the info. Out of curiosity, what made you not attend the fall cohort??

This is so awesome I will be applying this fall as well.
Yes girl! I know we can do this!
Quick UPDATE: SBVC will be following its current application and multicriteria process for the applicants for Spring 2023. There was some talk going around that we'd be following a whole new process, however Athena, a nursing counselor, emailed me and confimed that we will not be following the new prerequisite and GPA change.
If you want to know the current requirements and multicriteria points, go to the SBVC nursing website and click on the tab that says "Information Packet" and "Multicriteria Points." Thank you! ?

Thank you Jaena for letting us know about this update!
Thank you for the info Jaena. I was going to apply but now not sure if I'd even have a chance. SBVC counts classes into GPA that VVC (other school I'm applying to) doesn't. Cuz it looks like I'll only have 36 points before the TEAS. :\. Many of the classes that are counted are ones I took for my associates before I wanted to go into nursing. Some of my grades aren't the best. I have 4.0 in science though.

I honestly am not sure for this time around... I know that in the past they've accepted 40+ students!
