  1. Congratulations to everyone who applied this application period. No matter the outcome you should be very proud of yourself!
  2. I haven't taken it yet but I've heard that it's a difficult exam.. 73% is a great score nonetheless, plus you know what to expect now, so you're at an advantage. Are you going to take the newest version then?
  3. How was the TEAS for you?
  4. Good luck to everyone applying!
  5. Yeah, I think as long as it's less than a year old you are able to submit your current TEAS score rather than taking a new one. Unless you are wanting to better your score of course ? And your points are solid! The range of invitation is usually 38+ points!
  6. I think you should still apply! It never hurts to try. ❤️
  7. Quick UPDATE: SBVC will be following its current application and multicriteria process for the applicants for Spring 2023. There was some talk going around that we'd be following a whole new process, however Athena, a nursing counselor, emailed me and confimed that we will not be following the new prerequisite and GPA change. If you want to know the current requirements and multicriteria points, go to the SBVC nursing website and click on the tab that says "Information Packet" and "Multicriteria Points." Thank you! ? https://www.valleycollege.edu/academic-career-programs/degrees-certificates/nursing/
  8. I'm excited for you! Wishing you the best of luck ?
  9. That's awesome! And thank you for the info. Out of curiosity, what made you not attend the fall cohort?? Yes girl! I know we can do this!
  10. I honestly am not sure for this time around... I know that in the past they've accepted 40+ students!
  11. Hey Dezico! So as of right now, SBVC is revising their information packet and multicriteria sheet. We should be expecting them around July! If you want to know what prerequisites are required, visit the SBVC nursing page. As for getting accepted, I would recommend to: - apply to SBVC as a student - transfer all of your transcripts - get transcripts evaluated (Transcript Evaluation) - meet with a nursing counselor, either Athena or Maritza, and make sure that you are all set! - Attend info and application workshops (dates posted on SBVC nursing website) Since it's still early, I would recommend to do all of this now so that you aren't rushing in the end! ? Good luck and let me know if you need any help! SBVC Nursing Website: https://www.valleycollege.edu/academic-career-programs/degrees-certificates/nursing/
  12. Hello quick update! Here is a document that shares all of the resources (free and purchasable) that I will be using for the TEAS! Happy Studying! TEAS Version 7 Resources Jaena.pdf
  13. Hey Sarah! :) I know it's both exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time knowing that we will be applying in a matter of months... To answer your questions, yes I'm all done with my pre reqs and no I'm not a transfer student, I did most of my pre reqs at SBVC. Make sure to get your transcripts evaluated! And send in your HS transcript
  14. Hey Candie ? As of right now, I will be relying on the ATI TEAS comprehensive study package from the ATI website, Trivium TEAS book (Amazon), and Mometrix (Amazon). There's a FB group I follow where students from all over the country study and share notes to take the TEAS, they're called ATI TEAS 7-Study Group. I also make study guides so I will definitely share them once they're made! ?
  15. Hey everyone! I know it's a little early but I thought it would be nice to create a little chat/forum for all San Bernardino Valley students who are wanting to apply this Sept/Oct 2022 for the Spring 2023 Nursing Cohort! Feel free to use this forum to your advantage! Good luck to everyone applying this year. ? I'll check back in August but in the meantime I will be studying for the TEAS!
