I not sure if they also accepting male nurses but one of the applicant told me that they also accepting male nurses. Go to POEA today because there is an ongoing interview at SRO starting yesterday.
MABUHAY! Newbie here..
I went to POEA last monday just to inquire about the requirements..
I brought everything and was ready to submit it to them when the lady asked "Are you 22 years old?" then I replied, "Im turning 22 on November this year.." then she goes, "Okay so you can apply in November then.."
WaAaAaH! T_T
Why do they have age limits? If processing time will take 4 months and on then I can still submit my requirements right? And by the time they'll contact me for interview and other exams, I reached the legal age of 22 and if I got in then I can go fly-fly right? Whew! I hate them! >_
Hi everyone!!
Just got the Offer of Appointment. I'm currently processing my papers now, I'm done with my medical and I'm looking forward to meet Mr. Suave for evaluation..hehehe. Anyway I just have one concern. I was hired under MOH.. Is it possible to request for a workplace? Also I want to be with my friend. You know this would be my first time to go to Saudi and as much as possible I wanted to be with her who's an ex-Saudi. Do they allow such request like this?
Your replies will be highly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Your not the only first timer in Saudi if they allow such request all first timer applicants with friend working in Saudi will do the same, which can cause a big problem in the part of Saudi recruitment office.
but try to talk Maan Celine the one with curly hair and eyeglasses about your concern.
GOOD LUCK to mr.suave.:chuckle
gud pm! Just wanna ask something. I applied under MOH at SRO office. I had my final evaluation Feb 19, 2008 and they instructed me to just wait for them to txt or call, but until now I didn't hear from them. I try to call SRO for several times but I'm not lucky enough because nobody pick up the phone and answered me.
I worked in Saudi for 4yrs and just finished my contract last Dec 2007. I work under MOH! As what I remember we did take so long time before. Maybe after 1mon since we had our final evaluation, we already received txt from them.
I want to know when is our flight and how true that there is no available flight for SRO nurses.

I went to SRO last April 28, and a lot of applicants who finished their final evaluation last January 2008 asking the SRO office why they still don't have a flight schedule.
SRO told them that the Saudi embassy is having problem encoding visa that's why until now there is no visa release but maybe this May they can already release some visa...
All we can do now is just continue praying.
Newbie here.
Guys, I'm confused. What are the steps when applying for a staff nurse in Saudi Arabia via POEA? All I know is that I should submit the requirements in Window M. Can somebody tell me the requirements, and what to expect after that?
Also, when submitting requirements in POEA, are you actually applying under Ministry of Health of KSA and do they accept male nurse without experience?
Please, I really need help.
I went to POEA again last week to try if I can still proceed my application despite the age limit they set I have not yet reached..
As usual, I got rejected not once but twice haha!
Keep pushing until the day I turn 22.. ?
Anyway, Zephyr05 just go ahead and bring all the original copy and photocopy of every pertinent documents you have (e.g. TOR, Diploma, Board Certificate, Trainings).. Also 6 pcs 2x2 picture and passport, NBI, PRC ID..
Aigoo! Its really hard to land a job as a nurse nowadays..
This is what I went through when I applied in Saudi:
1. Submitted requirements to POEA window M.
(TOR,Diploma,PRC Rating and Lic.card/ID., Passport, NBI, High School Diploma,All are photocopy only, Plus 6 pcs. 2x2 pictures, Resume)
2. Wait for a text message for an interview schedule or you may go to SRO as walk-in applicant. If walk-in, you will be given a schedule for interview.I went to SRO and was interviewed the next day.
3. Passed the interview and waited for Letter of Appointment.
When you were given the LOA it has an attached sheet of paper with all the instructions you will follow. Just read it thoroughly and you'll never go wrong.
With regards to whether they accept male nurses, just go to poea and ask them directly. No info on that eh.

Sorry for the late reply I'm having problem on my pc,,,,,pablo75 was right, there is an ongoing interview at the SRO that's why POEA told me to go directly at the SRO as a walk-in applicant and I got interview right away.
