Hello to everyone..Can I ask anyone who is working with MOH saudi Arabia? Can I ask if they are offering a 1 year contract? Can you give me also an idea regarding their exam? Thank you in advance. Godbless!

I just got interviewed by one of the representatives of Saudi German Hospital. I was hired right there and then.
This is their offer to me: 2000SR/mo (roughly around 25,000Php), free housing, food and uniform; paid vacation after a year with round trip tickets.
Reasonable offer? I just find the monthly salary too low.
God Bless Pinoy nurses.
Do you have an agency? or it is also through POEA? I think 2000SR/month is bearable if you don't have hospital experience. I'm not sure if its true but your salary will be increased yearly depending on your performance. If there is no other offer to you, you should grab this opportunity. Make sure to have a background check about the hospital/facility and other comments about it before you sign the contract.

I think that's reasonable enough, If you are after experience and salary enough to support your expenses unlike here in Phil. we are waiting for nothing.
Anyway where did you pass your resume? And when did you get your interview?

Yes, I went thru the affiliated agency of Saudi German Hospital. But it was the employer who interviewed me and a companion during that time. We really wasn't attracted with their offer since I have a 2-year experience in medical and pedia and my companion, 1-yr and 4 mos. at NICU.
This is, by the way our second employer interview. The first one offered us 2500SR/mo. and the same free stuffs. BUT, we will be working in a polyclinic, which doesn't interest me.
I'll still have to look and wait for a better offer though.
GOD BLESS, PINOY NURSES!

Hey, bhevy!
I think if I have a 0-hospital experience, I'll grab the offer because that really is the monthly rate of a neophyte. but I have a 2-year experience and that made me think twice with the offer.
My interview (and the whole process) was quite fast. I was at POEA to pass my requirements then a lady told me that there is an ongoing employer interview for Saudi German Hospital at a nearby hotel. So I went there with my requirements. I got interviewed by the employer which lasted 6-7mins. After that, they told me I was hired, presented the salary and benefits, and asked when I can have my medical exam.
Best of luck to you, Bhevy!
cheenxi... Why consider Saudi if you have 2 years hospital experience? I suggest you try to apply in other country like Canada, NZ and Australia. You have an edge over the other applicants because of that experience plus you can migrate in the country of choice if you like. The compensation is way better than Saudi, not to mention they are open country meaning less rules, policies and restrictions.
I see! You mean you go through agency instead of passing your req. in POEA? I heard if you are hired through SRO much salary awaits you especially you do have 2yrs. exp!
I have 0-experience that's why I want to try my luck in Saudi because I can't afford to be a volunteer because of financial problem!

Hey sassy! I was kinda expecting that reaction from you, hehe!
You see, I'm only looking for a 2-year contract abroad while waiting for the US retrogression to be lifted. I have my ongoing I-140 application right now that's why I'm not looking any further than KSA or UAE. besides, my IELTS has already expired...and no more exams for me, pleassee!

Hey bhevy!
Yes, I went thru an agency with my application.
That's why I'm quite reluctant on their salary offer. I just thought I can have a higher rate than that because of my 2 years hospital experience. too bad, they weren't able to see it.
By the way, are you a fresh nursing grad?

Of course they will. Everyone is welcome to submit their application/documents in POEA but there is a minimum age requirement, I think you have to be 22 years old.
It is an advantage if you have hospital experience and if you have specialization or assigned in special area.
