Hello all!
I agree, Joe, that IS a lot of animals! And we love them all, so we clean up after them when necessary. ? Good you enjoyed the potluck, and kudos to you for making conversation.
No Stars, I hope you got the gold star on your chart yesterday, for getting Mr. Stars to the doctor! Hopefully the arm swelling is going down. I'm sure the dog is a cutie! As she is so small, I would worry about Mr. Stars, with his balance issues, tripping over her/stepping on her. Truly!
Hiya Tweety! I'm getting snacks ready for bowling night! ?
Dh is scheduled for cataract surgery on Monday, and we have to be at the facility at 0-dark-thirty. I decided not to attend former boss's memorial service today, just to reduce risk of bringing anything into the house right before the surgery. I will have to go to the grocery store tomorrow, and will do so with fingers crossed. We were invited to a house jam on Tuesday, but dh will probably not want to go, being just one day postop. We are scheduled to go camping later in the month, with a group of friends (the ones we jam with). I am inclined to think we will be able to make that, I think dh will be sufficiently recovered.
We will do Zoom Sabbath School today, and then probably watch an episode or two of The Chosen. I have a Biblical Archaeology Review magazine I want to go through. Just quiet, indoor (cool, air-conditioning) stuff. ?
Have a good day!
Remember when someone having cataract surgery had to lay flat and have a sandbag on each side of their head, and was told NOT to move? Glad things have changed since then!
My friend says they call the dog Momo, or Moe-Moe, or just Mo(e). She may end up with half a dozen nicknames, though (it runs in my family to have either long names or multiple nicknames for any pet.) Decided to go to a different vet than I took Ozzie and Pippy to. I don't know why, but there ya go! Since they are attending some kind of sports game their nephew is playing in my friend will call me later today or sometime tomorrow to answer my other questions.
Have to pause to get Nannie up.
Later--
I did go hear the author speak. She was interesting. The library system made books available so I had her sign one for my sister.
Then picked up my online grocery order.
While it is not 100° (only 84) it felt hot driving in the convertible. I enjoyed looking at the fair exhibits. The quilts made me want to work on quilt projects.
Hi. Quiet day around these parts. The weather has warmed up a little, and the sun came out, a very comfortable 70 degrees. I went for a jog, then home to listen to the two radio shows we listen to on Saturdays. Dh went to a dahlia show, I chose to stay home to clean up the kitchen. I was going to join friends for a hike, but they had changed the date to yesterday, and I missed the message. I am going to join them for a twilight kayak ride on Thursday to see the bioluminescence in a near-by bay. I washed the windows of my car after being inspired by Dianah. And I finally swept the spruce needles from the driveway.
I cooked spaghetti and added pesto and parmesan cheese for dinner, along with some romaine lettuce with salad dressing. Simple, tasty. Last night dd and I went to see a comedian, Tim Notaro. It was OK, per dd, she is usually funnier. It was nice to get out and catch up with her.
Stars, your prospective pup sounds adorable. Dh has firmly said no chihuahuas.

Dianah and Ado that's a lot of animals. Currently I only have 1 cat, she's pretty good except for the occasional hairball
Stars I hope the Lasix helps him
Busy day at work, got a new case in the afternoon but had to leave it for Monday. But not crazy busy at least
Ran a bunch of errand after work then went to the potluck. Was nice, met some people I hadn't met before. Conversation is always interesting with this group.
Today headed off to work with the environmental group, thankfully this time the location isn't that far away, and it will be seed collecting which shouldn't be too demanding
Will meet dad for lunch as usual, then might bake some more muffins. Svengoolie has War of the Gargantuas, which I can't recall if it's any good or not.
Cool again today in the lower 70s
