NJ22 don't think I've ever seen seals in the wild

Dianah I'm going to start on a new project, not sure what yet

Tweety that was a nice bonus

Stars a cat would be nice but would be some additional work

Was a fairly good day at work, a bit busy near the end but not too bad.  Stopped at the grocery store and library after work, exercised, and mostly finished the scarf.  Knitting part is finished, just have to take care of the loose ends

Today will do my usual Saturday:  Stop at the coffeehouse, go birdwatching, and have lunch with Dad.  Will also stop at the local yarn store, need to get a crochet hook to work in the loose ends on the scarf, hopefully they might have some ideas on next projects

Svengoolie has X:  The Man with X-ray Eyes, will give it a look, although as a 60s movie it will probably be disappointing

Will only get up to 40 today, with some flurries possible

Tweety, Hope your shift is going well, or 'weller' than it has on some days!

Joe, FLURRIES!! Eeek! I thought we were going to have temps in the 50's today, but it is 72 out there right now.

The man who always says "Let Nannie sleep as late as she will; don't wake her up." ----Today, he stood in my doorway and said, "Are you going to sleep all day?" So I got up (had to take a meclizine because I've had the lurch's these past two days), got dressed and came down to the den where hubby was sitting with Nannie's lunch tray on his lap, waiting. Nannie was up and looking for some pants to wear; I got her in the bathroom and then out to her recliner. He gave her lunch to her and I stripped the wet bed to wash her wet bed linens. Now he is leaned back in his recliner, eyes closed, with the 02 on. If I wanted to start something (I most assuredly do not!) I could say, in a loud voice, "ARE YOU GOING TO SLEEP ALL DAY?!?!" ( I mean, it would be pertinent!) Ah, well, I just want a quiet day so I will hush.

Joe, a cat wouldn't be near as much extra work for me as a dog would be. However, Nannie is not a fan of cats, so phooey on her.

Hope everyone is having a tolerable day and is feeling okay..............

Loved the picture with the seals. Im sure they're hard to photograph.

Tweety, hope your shift was a good one.

Joe, birdwatching sounds peaceful.

Finally bought groceries and spent a lot. But that included 2 pairs of gym shorts for Twin B, a big bag of dog food, etc. I enjoy our pets but do get tired of taking the dogs out and back in. It would be easier to travel if we didn't have pets, or maybe had just 1. Not that we can travel easily anyway since we have Gma.

I have not felt like doing anything today. Some days I just need a break. Is this a getting-older thing? I dug through old photos looking for one Hubs wanted. Didn't find it but got nostalgic. And overwhelmed by all our stuff.

Oh, yes. There were flurries and a light coating of snow in OKC. No snow for us but it got cold.

Cool and overcast here. I did finally get outside and did a little yard clean up. For some reason, when I am outside my nose runs profusely, so that gets annoying. Allergies maybe. Or maybe a bit of a cold, 'cause I feel cold all the time, and tired.

I plan to go to bed early, but the dog is barking at me, wanting to go on a walk.  I don't think thats going to happen tonight.

I am feeling overwhelmed by stuff. dh says one of his goals is to clean out the garage. Of course, that has been a goal for the last 20 years. He is a very nice person and a good husband and dad, but the procrastination really wears on me some days.

Hugs, nursej22.  I hope tomorrow is, in some way, better.  We share some same issues.  'nuff said.

We joined in Zoom Sabbath School, then met long-time friends for Thai food at one of our very favorite restaurants.  Simple place, good food.  My friend S (with whom I walk once a week) gave me a silicone pie crust cover, very flexible, for when the crusts need to be covered to prevent burning.  Very thoughtful!

Dh and I watched White Christmas, always a favorite.

Maybe will do grocery shopping tomorrow.

Have a good evening!

We watched Weird, the Al Yankovich story. I did not realize but probably should have that it is a parody of a biopic. It was fun, and I needed a good laugh.
