Joe, hope you have a great bird-watching time and lunch with your dad.
I'm Gma-sitting today while Hubs takes a day to go sailing. One of his friends may meet him there later. There are things I'd like to get done but might not. Right now she's sitting quietly but I did hear her mutter "I'm crazy. But I'm going home."
Sis is still in hospital. I’m not sure if she’s fuzzy mentally or what, but she can’t tell me what she was admitted for, doesn’t know any lab or imaging results or why she is still there. I encouraged her to call me at discharge, if nothing else, to try to prevent another admission. She got a PT eval which is weird, because she is as active as me, except when her heart is wonky, which it has been. I don’t think she’s even been seen by a cardiologist. Sigh.
Joe, good luck on your muffins. What kind?
I hope Gma stays calm and twins are healthy.
okay work sounds tolerable to me.
108 degrees not sound tolerable.

GOOD. Hope you can be there, for support and to get some answers.
Tweety, hope your day goes smoothly. Good you have extra hands! (now THAT'S a visual! LOL!)
Ado, hope Gma remains manageable.
Dh is feeling better every day. I tested negative today, so we are going ahead with plans for going camping tomorrow. My job this afternoon/tonight is to do the grocery shopping and meal-prep, and lug it all out to the RV. Dh turned the fridge on this morning, so it should be cool enough to receive deposits. Will pack later, that won't take long.
It is 97 degrees out, clear and 29% humidity. That's hot, to me. ?
The luthier, who did the work on my guitar, called last night, checking to see how I like it. Again, he reiterated it was one of three he wouldn't mind keeping, that he really liked its sound. Nice of him to check up on us! He and dh chatted a bit, too, which was nice.
OK, more another time. Have a good evening!
Tweety, I'll take okay work over not-okay work.
J22, good that you will get to understand what's going on with your sis.
dianah, enjoy your trip! I guess you know you have a nice instrument if the luthier would like to keep it.
Hubs had some troubles at the lake so I had to drive up there to take him some tools. It's about a 50-minute drive and involves Oklahoma City highways. But all was good. And he has rescued me multiple times. Got home and Gma was mad at the boys. We grilled some food. Soon I should have her go to the bathroom so there won't be a mess to clean up.
As I was driving out of town I noticed the traffic lights were not working. Got on the highway and my phone blew up with texts. Another power outage. This time, someone cut down a tree that fell across the lines and took out the whole town. So the hospital staff was having a flurry of texts but the power came back on soon after. That's 3 days this week.
Hubs just got home and had a great time after the rough start. I have a watermelon on ice (he's not a fan but the rest of us will enjoy it).

I kept thinking this was Sunday. I've been 'off' on the days of the week ALL week!
Nannie's brain is starting to slip again. Like "Can we come back here to watch the ballgame tomorrow?" and "Is it okay if I go and sleep on that bed in there?" Then, after she took her PM pill and went to bed, she got up to pee, and came back out to the den and pointed at the recliner and said, "I was just sitting there, wasn't I?" I told her yes, but that she had told me she was going to bed. So she turned back into the bedroom and closed her door. A few minutes later, hubby came downstairs..."Where's Nannie?" (She said she was tired and went to bed.) He knocked on her door and cracked it open to say goodnight to her, and next thing I know, it was on: "If you're going to bed, why are you still in your clothes?" -- "I was going to put them on." -- "I don't know how you can put on your pajamas when you're already half in the bed" -- "I'm not half in the bed." -- "You were about to pull your blankets up when I came in here. You need to get up again and PUT ON YOUR PAJAMAS!" At which point she got back up and said she decided NOT to go to bed now. And back out to her recliner she came. *sigh*
So here she sits with her eyes barely open. I told hubby that when I decide to go upstairs, I'm just going to leave her there, and turn off the TV and the lights!
Ooh stay prepared lots of towns cities have been experiencing same power outage or blackout keep batteries flashlights if you can afford a generator invest may need to power up important things like phones tv or fridge do you have solar panels or solar electricity lately everything has slowly shifted to using electric here in California not only our cars but to everyday use it’s better for environments and since Covid many places have changed there system sent off the cars to replace them with electric believe Hawaii is enforcing this rule or trying to anyways Oklahoma sounds amazing one place I would like to know more about how they live the everyday life of Oklahomans

NJ22 hope your sister is discharged soon
Stars I've had dreams like that too
Ado I would have those questions too
Dianah 108 is way too hot
Tweety hopefully people saw through that story
Work was kinda crazy again yesterday, partly my fault because I had scheduled so much that day. Did leave on time and didn't have to cut lunch short, thankfully
J exhausted himself working on his yard so we didn't go out. This new fence/sod/trees are the latest obsession and he wants to make sure it all looks just right. Hopefully by next week he'll ease off on the yard work
Today have my usual bird watching and lunch with dad. Will try baking muffins again today too. Was underwhelmed when I made them previously, but they're so much easier to bake then coffeecake. Svengoolie has Frankenstein 1970, we'll see if that's any good
Will be in the 70s again today, might get some rain
