Tweety hope you feel better and that fever comes down

Dianah here's hoping you don't get sick again

Ado hopefully they won't need you this weekend

NJ22 it's cold here too, I think our highs are in the 20s

Stars that must be disappointing, and frustrating.  Substance abuse and other mental illnesses can really distort people's thoughts and actions.  I know my cousins are frustrated with my aunt's paranoia and have not had much success with solutions

Thankfully yesterday was considerably slower at work.  So much so that I had time to get Christmas presents wrapped, something I really don't care for but need to do.  Had some time to help a coworker too

Quiet evening, ran an errand or two and exercised

Today going to the arboretum for bird watching, assuming it isn't too cold.  Will take dad out to lunch for a belated birthday.  Need to bake muffins and do laundry too.  And work on knitting,  haven't had a chance in a couple days.  Have a haircut scheduled too, so a busy day

Svengoolie has Invisible Agent, can't remember if that was good or bad

Still need to contact the counselor, though I probably won't be able to get in until  the new year.

Going to be cold today, in the mid 20s, might get some more snow

And I had to set up his new FSBS monitor; he said it was broken and he couldn't get it to work....and this was days ago he got it. Now he can use it, maybe. The other day he came in and said that all my car (elec) windows were open because he tried to close them and couldn't figure out how to do it. His brain must be pickled.

Well, I'm going downstairs to see what shape he is in today.

My prayers this morning had a lot to do with me and my reactions to whatever I may find....distancing, y'know.

I love you guys for all the support, it really does help.

Absolutely.  Hugs and prayers.

G'day

Joe, glad you had a good day at work and hope you have a good day today.

Stars, accepting the things we can't control is a tough one to practice.

I'm still feeling under the weather.  No more fevers but they came the last two evenings so we shall see.  Just has to run it's course.

He's worse drunk than yesterday and is refusing to take his meds because he doesn't 'trust' the doc's at the hospital, who changed one med and added the B vitamins. No meds x how many days, and all the drinking...how long can he last? He looks sick, but says he is 'fine'. (According to whose dictionary?) He had a sandwich (yes, I made it, so he can have SOMETHING in his stomach.) and is now 'sleeping' in the recliner. Nannie coughed and he said "Wha?", and he responded the same way when I sneezed. DUH!

I am enjoying some peace and quiet while both of my "patients" are conked out. I am being the watch-dog. Wonder if I'll bite somebody's leg? ?‍♀️ Ya never know!

So, elsewhere, like outside the back door, it is VERY windy and blustery, and fallen leaves form into tornado-like swirls. It is only in the 40's but feels a lot colder. But rumor has it that there is going to be some sunshine this afternoon.

I got some wild birdseed mix the other day and put a feeder where the humming-bird feeder was (H-birds are gone for the season.) I also sprinkled a lot of birdseed on the un-used stairs to the unsafe back deck. At least I have something to enjoy watching while I sit here. I think we have at least 9 species of birds coming and going. They are so happy to devour those seeds!

Hope you are all well and getting better if you aren't feeling so hot right now.

It's cool and foggy and drizzly here. Yuck. There is something about damp cold that just creeps in and lingers. The neighbor is slowly removing the trees along the property line, so I am listening to an intermittent chainsaw. dh just left to go shopping and to lunch with dd. I am going to run to the Mailstop, a little store that mailboxes and shipping and a photocopier. I need to make copies of our IDs and marriage certificate for another pension application. I got word that I got accepted in the Master Gardener program, so I will start weekly classes for that in February. Woot! That will get me out of the house and hopefully make some new friends. I feel myself getting isolated and a little depressed.

Stars, what a good idea to attract some birds. 9 species!

Tweety, it sure sounds like you have the flu. Yup, they just have to run their course and avoid secondary bugs.

Take care, all.

Stars, enjoy watching the birds. We used to do that and I'm out of the habit now. Thought about birdseed when I was buying kitty litter today. Hope you can sense the supportive thoughts I'm sending.

Did not get called in today. It is in the 40s but clear and sunny so quite different from a gray and blustery 40s. The tree is set up so I'm going to put the ornaments on this evening. I have a pork loin to cook for dinner tomorrow. Have not done any holiday baking. Started alike cross-stitch ornament thinking it would be quick and easy. Silly me.

Ado, share a photo of the tree once it's decorated??  Dinner sounds good!

wow, nursej22, Master Gardener??  How exciting, and good to look forward to!

I just finished helping with the online jam with dh.  We ended it with Jingle Bells, LOL!  I think later I will attend the local Footlighters theatre, they are doing an arrangement of Little Women (one of my long-time favorite books).  This is their last weekend performing this particular play, so it's either attend tonight or tomorrow at 2pm.  I would rather go tonight.

Have a good evening, and feel better Tweety!  ((((((((((((((((( Stars ))))))))))))))) hang in there.
