Tweety it's good that she's helping your parents, sad there is such conflict between her and her daughter

Stars that is great that you can get in to see the psychologist.  Hope your dh takes action on the NH while a bed is still free

NJ22 that if often a good option when you don't have time to do a lot of cooking

Ado that is frustrating.  Hopefully they will refer stepson for mental health treatment rather than jail

Dianah we ended up not having dinner as J has a cold.  We've rescheduled it for next Friday.  I'm rather glad we no longer get together that often, given how unreliable he has proven

And perhaps it was better we didn't' get together, I had what was probably the busiest day at work ever, started early, worked through lunch, but thankfully got done on time.  But still, it was exhausting

Didn't do much afterwards except a walk and a little cleaning

Today will go to the arboretum in the morning.  Then will take the cat to the vet.  Don't expect it to be too difficult,  this one is pretty mellow.  Will get her shots and see why she is experiencing some hair loss, though overall her health seems good.  Afterwards will meet dad for lunch as usual

Svengoolie has This Island Earth which is a classic

Will be another warm day in the low 80s here

Whayer iz ebrybodie???

It is partly sunny/partly cloudy, not too hot, not too chilly. Nice dull day. We have the TV on for the Braves/Nationals game, but they are in a Rain Delay. Was supposed to start at 4:20 PM, now they are saying the start time will be 6:45 PM.

I don't have much to tell today. Hubby said he slept really well last night and didn't get up until 9:30AM. Oh, and I am doing a few more loads of laundry (mine and hubby's), and since I hear no dryer or washer noises, I guess I best get in there and take care of the remaining loads. Have to also change the bandage on hubby's left hand and right elbow.

Told ya it was a dull day!

Dull days can be good!

Hello to all. I really do enjoy hearing about your days and I hope and pray and laugh and cry with you.

Sitting at the train station in Austin. Probably running about an hour late for the 9:55 scheduled arrival in San Antonio. Reading a novel I found in my mom's bookcase. Twin A called me to discuss his biology quiz.

Joe, hope you unwound today.

Stars, a dull day in your house seems to be a good day.

Sheets are still in the dryer.   The pleasures of living alone.

Today drained me.  Had a cup of coffee but no water.  Got back to back admissions from the ER, one who had a medication list a mile long that I had to enter one by one for the doctor to review.  At least I could import them from her pharmacy (which was in Georgia...love technology).  The other one eventually lost her pressure from lady partsl bleeding.  50/30.  Trendelburg, fluid bolus and a blood transfusion and I left her in stable condition.  Clocked out over an hour late.

Back for more tomorrow.

Ado, safe travels.  Ah, nice to be able to read a book!

No Stars, a quiet day is good.

Joe, J does seem to get sick a lot.  Hope the arboretum was nice, and fed your spirit to be there.  How is your cat?  I assume it was a routine visit?

Tweety, good you and your savvy were there for those patients, especially the bleeding one.  Hope tomorrow has less drama.  Sheets aren't going anywhere, no worries.

Quiet day.  We attended Zoom Sabbath School, had lunch while watching an episode of The Chosen.  I took a little nap, then attended the online jam.  We will soon have dinner and watch another Chosen episode.  We are gearing up for tomorrow's outing to Disneyland for Dapper Day!!  We are both anxious to go!  Dh will do the pet chores and then we will get gussied up and go.  It should be 75 degrees tomorrow, not bad at all!

Have a good evening!

It was a quiet day here as well. I had a decent run then stopped at the pharmacy. I was worried about how much my insurance would cover, but bill was less than I expected. Whew! It was starting to sprinkle as I got home, so I hurried to finish fertilizing the last 3 roses. It has been drizzling most of the day. I have been decluttering, taking paper out to the recycle bin, and pulled some yucky stuff out of the fridge. And I started watching Succession on HBO max, just to see if it's as good as I've heard. Talk about family drama!

Tweety, once again, your patients were lucky to have you!

I hope Joe's kitty had a healthy check-up. I suppose things are blooming at the arboretum? The cherry trees here are opening up.

dh is in a snit again. I don't know why, but he's hardly said 2 words all day. He really keeps his feelings bundled up. I'm surprised he's never had an ulcer.

Safe travels, Annie!

Disneyland and 75? Sounds like a dream.
