21 SATA questions on my NCLEX!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Out of 75 questions, 21 were SATA... Ive never heard of someone getting so many. Is that even allowed??? A friend recomended that I contact the nursing board, and Im pretty anxious since I had so much difficulty with those types of questions during my studies.

After reading through like 100 posts here i see that having many SATA could be a good thing, and its very common. I have yet to see a post where someone had a lot of SATA and the test shut off at 75 and they failed. Of course, it could be that the people dont want to post when they have failed! This whole process is one big mind game!

i took the PN Nclex end of august and my computer shut down at 87-88 i totally lost count bc i had sooo many SATA questions i would say 15 to 20 or even more. SATA is my weakness and I walked out of the test center feeling like i Failed!!! Depressed for couple of days but slowly getting over it. i havent received my results but I did try the Pearson Vue trick and went straight to the cc options so that must mean I failed...I just hope what you said was correct that seeing a bunch of SATA questions is a good sign!!!

SATA will not definitely tell passed or failed. I took nclex 2 weeks ago had 265 questions and got 10-12 SATA and i passed. 5 friends of mine didn't even get a single SATA but passed.

I took my NCLEX-PN today. I had 85 questions and I must of had atleast 10 SATA's, plus a bunch of priority nursing questions. I never did good at SATA questions in school. I walked out of there kinda unsure because of those questions. I am just waiting!

I guess I should of posted in this thread as to whether I passed or not. I did! So maybe all the SATA's do matter.

I got more than 10 SATA's out of 75 questions and i passed.... some say SATA's are high level questions and it could be a basis that you pass but others dont believe this notion. i think if you have meds and prioritization this could be a sign too... i dont know... just pray my friends... Good luck!
