Hi Vargas,

You were #44 two years ago and still waiting?

I was #98 one year ago and now 78... :(

Yes, i think GPA does matters... You need minimum 2.5 on Prereq science classes to apply...

What were your grades for Anatomy, Phys and Micro if you dont mind me asking? And did u apply to any other schools ?

my name was on the waiting list too, but I have been thinking about transferring to Shepherd University. No waiting list.. Two years waiting.. I am not that patient!! I heard that there are more than 200 people on the waiting list...

About Sherperd University, what program do they offering? And do u know the estimating tuition? THank you.

I transferred to Shepherd University and the school just approve this May and enrolled last Friday. There is no waiting list for lvn to rn for 2011 spring and the application deadline is Aug 20, 2010. I heard there is only 13 seats available and first come first serve.. hope it helps.

Specializes in (none).

I'm not sure how many they let in each semester...but there are two sections of each semester in the nursing program: Traditional and ECP (extended campus program, in conjunction with St Joseph Hospital). in the traditional section we've gotten only 3 new students each semester after first...not sure how many ECP has gotten. asaik the waitlist is something like 150+ students for 3rd, and less than that for 2nd and 4th but don't quote me on that.

grades by far are the best way to get in quickly, hands down. a year after submitting my application i was taking the TEAS and the following semester i was in.

the list went down to 136.
