Santa Ana College Fall 2018

Published

Hi everyone, first time poster, long time lurker.

Its been a long two year road to finish all prerequisites.

I just dropped off my application for the Fall 2018.

I wish good luck to all to those applied.

According to the nice lady that accepted my application and gave me a time stamp, they will send a decision via snail mail first week of April 2018.

My points: 80.5

TEAS: 83.3

GPA sciences: 4.0

Again, good luck!

Congrats to everyone that got into SAC and wherever else you applied. To everyone may we all do well and graduate as nurses in 2 years. Good luck to those that will be attending other schools and to the rest I will see you in 3 weeks and looking forward to getting to know all of you. Here's to the beginning of the journey together.

Hello! First time posting to the forum. I Read all your responds and they helped a lo thank a lot. I to go accepted to SAC Nursing program and have already accepted my spot. Hope to see you all May 11, Congratulation all we all worked hard to get here.

does anyone have a psychiatric technician license and applied for SAC? i do and the application states that you need to meet with the dean of nursing to determine eligibility for advanced placement. I met with the dean, we determined that the generic nursing program would be the best fit for me, not advanced placement. She sent me on my merry way. never did she mention that i needed to attach a letter to my application saying i met with her. she also didn't give me any type of letter stating my meeting with her. so, I got a letter the other day from SAC saying that i was ineligible to apply because i didn't meet with the dean..........

what is up with these schools?

I would go up and try to meet with the dean again and call the school. Maybe they can help you?

I was going to go this week but didn't have time. I am going to go in on monday.

Hi Ericka, my friend also got rejected. He had close to 80 points but his application was incomplete due to not taking English 101. He passed the AP test so he never took English 101. He did take upper division writing to get his BA and yet SAC rejected him for not sending in the AP score.

For all those applying in the future, please keep this in mind. good luck all!

Hey everyone!

This morning I officially gave up my spot for Santa Ana's nursing program.

Just throwing that out there for anybody who made it onto the alternate list.

Wishing you all the best in your programs and future endeavors!

For now, Rio Hondo.

Still waiting on Cerritos & LA County. Cerritos is my #1

Is anybody doing that bridge program for the BSN to Cal State Fullerton?

Has anyone gotten their registration date for the fall yet????

I just got my registration appointment time today. It is set for 7/26/2018.

Deciding whether to take the optional skills lab. Anyone know more about the skills lab?

I am also taking pharmacology class at saddleback this fall (online class) so i don't have to take it in class at SAC due to work schedule conflict.

Good luck all!
