Santa Ana College Fall 2018

Published

Hi everyone, first time poster, long time lurker.

Its been a long two year road to finish all prerequisites.

I just dropped off my application for the Fall 2018.

I wish good luck to all to those applied.

According to the nice lady that accepted my application and gave me a time stamp, they will send a decision via snail mail first week of April 2018.

My points: 80.5

TEAS: 83.3

GPA sciences: 4.0

Again, good luck!

Hi everyone! Just got my acceptance letter this morning and bawled my eyes out haha, all that hard work pays off. Congratulations to everyone else! I don't know my points since my work experience was questionable (caregiver without certification), but my "stats" are as follows:

Sciences GPA 3.6

TEAS 88%

4 pts life experiences

Also, I might end up letting go of my spot if I get accepted to my first choice college, but I won't find out till around May 7th. Just letting you guys know in case anyone is on the wait list.

Got my acceptance letter today ...so excited and anxious but it feels good at the same time lol. Can't wait to meet everyone. I am waiting for Palomar College and if I get in with them I will accept their spot but I wNt know until mid may.

Hey guys, I got my denial letter today with Santa Ana. From what I calculated I had 78 points, but I did get into Golden West and accepted that spot. So if you don't get I suggest going over points with a counselor to double check! Good luck to everyone and congrats to those who got it!

Good luck at golden west! Glad u got accepted elsewhere. 78 points seem more than enough. Wonder what happened? Anyways good luck!

I think I had 70 points.

FYI.

If you took TEAS at Santa Ana College, there is no need to submit TEAS test transcript from ATI per the instruction on the acceptance letter.

They confirmed they have my official scores. Please make sure to verify with the nursing dept if you have any doubt.

My friend got rejected to Santa Ana and the letter stated that the range of people accepted were 74.5 to 80s

There were 12 or 15 random picks and 20 wait listed people as well. I glanced at this data, so don't quote me on it.

Also there were almost 400 applications and mid 300s were deemed eligible.. don't remember exact data.

I'm leaving this data here so future SAC applicants can look at this thread and see where they need to be to get accepted next semester or year.

379 applicants

338 eligible

12 randomly selected out of eligible

45 with the highest points

Points ranged from 74.5 to 88

3 reentry students

20 alternates

That's what my friend got on her rejection letter.

Posting for the first time! Got my acceptance letter in the mail last Friday and I am SUPER excited, especially being only 19 I was surprised! Literally cried tears of joy. If I calculated everything correctly, I had 74 points. I am a CNA at St. Joseph Hospital, but I prefer the traditional program since the classes are during the day, and I work night shifts. Hopefully they allow me.

Anyone else planning to do dual enrollment for BSN at a Cal State or another school? I am trying to get more information about it since I plan on doing it.

Just checked my informed delivery updates! A letter from Saddleback should be coming for me today!!!

hey guys! first time posting in this forum :) I got accepted into Santa Ana Nursing Program for Fall 2018 and I will be attending for sure! I was so ecstatic to be accepted especially because of how competitive it has been lately, especially because I am only 20 years old. I cannot wait to meet all my future classmates. See you guys at orientation! :)

yes just got Saddleback letter today!
