I agree thanks! If you choose SJSU, I am open to carpooling and alternate driving! Are you attending the Spartan Day on the 15th?

I think it's best to choose what benefits you the most considering you have kids! and whatever decision you choose, it will work out at the end!

I also believe that if you got accepted to SJSU, I'm pretty sure u have a good chance in CSM as well right? And I live in east bay which is abt an hr drive to sjsu w traffic ?, and no I'm not planning living near the campus or on campus apartment cuz my payments will increase huhu

I will say the application was long enough ago for me that I don't remember all the details but I can try answering questions about that too. Good luck ya'll!

Edit: Oh! My stats for the application were a 3.97 GPA (4.0 big ? and 93% on TEAS

Hi, do you happen to know anything about the SF nursing program? Like maybe if you had any classmates that went there or know someone? I'm trying to decide between sjsu and sfsu but it's hard bc I don't know anything about the sfsu program and they're pretty vague about it. Any information would help !!

Hey! Sorry but I really don't know much— I had a friend go there years ago and said that it was kind of a mess but, in my experience and from what I've heard, most nursing schools are. I can say what I've said already to another person who was deciding between SJSU and Sac is that wherever you go is where you'll be networking and making connections to get a job in the future so if you plan on working in SF, I recommend SFSU. If you're more interested in life/work in South Bay then definitely SJSU.

I live in San Francisco (just moved from Oakland) and the commute is difficult but the thing that bothers me most now is not having those SF hospital connections from clinicals/preceptorships that the SFSU students definitely have. I hope that helps!

Hi, is there anyone making the group chat?

Just a reminder, per the Terms of Service:

There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.

One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.

Two: Premium members may create a "club" by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on "Create A New Club" in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.

References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.

Thank you.

Welp that didn't work. Anyone making a facebook group?

Hey everyone,

congratulations to all that have been accepted and waitlisted! Getting into California nursing programs is no joke, and I think we should all be proud!
I was accepted into SJSU and SFSU!!  I've been trying to do as much research online as I could, and asked friends, to find out about the pros/cons between SF and SJ. I'm leaning SJSU. I know it's an extra semester, and as much as I know I'll be ready to be done with school, for me, I think SJ is the way to go.
