To anyone who's also waiting for sf state I just got my denial email like 5 minutes ago from sf

I got in at SJSU but got waitlisted at SFSU. I really wanted SFSU because I am in Daly City and it is the closest to my place. Anyone who is from the SF peninsula or around the daly city area who are choosing SJSU? Maybe we could do carpool and alternate drivers? LOL

Hi everyone,

Need some of your input. So I got accepted at SJSU which is almost an hour drive from my home without traffic. I am waiting for the decision from College of San Mateo which will come out in May. It is closer to about 20 minutes away. It is an ADN program and will still have to apply for bridge program to SFSU which I am not sure if I will get in the next time I apply. Right now, I only got waitlisted. Anyway, if you were me and you get accepted to CSM and SJSU, which one would you choose?

hello, personally for me, if I choose btwn SJSU n CSM, I would def choose SJSU bc of the classes and preceptorship they offer. Also for SJSU it is straight to BSN while CSM is ADN (which is no problem at all too!) I understand the drive is also far considering traffic, toll, mileage etc, (I also live abt an hr away from sj) but I would not mind sacrificing my education for 2.5 yrs and travel 4-5 days a week!

Are you considering in living in the campus apartments if u choose SJSU?

Hi! Thanks for your input. Appreciate it!  Thats what my dilemma is.. that with sjsu it is straight BSN, I don't have to worry about applying again for the bridge program. The other thing is that some of my colleagues told me that it will be too expensive if I choose SJSU than a community college. But then I am not qualified to any FAFSA, only direct loans so I guess financial is not really a matter in my case. Where do you live if you don't mind me asking. I live in Daly City. I am not considering living in campus apartment because I have two kids. How about you, you considering it?

I think it's best to choose what benefits you the most considering you have kids! and whatever decision you choose, it will work out at the end!

I also believe that if you got accepted to SJSU, I'm pretty sure u have a good chance in CSM as well right? And I live in east bay which is abt an hr drive to sjsu w traffic ?, and no I'm not planning living near the campus or on campus apartment cuz my payments will increase huhu
