  1. Yes, I would still choose SJSU. The program is well-established and has many connections with nearby hospitals. Some of the professors are really good, and others not so much, but in general, you will need to do a lot of self-studying and learning in nursing school.
  2. I don't remember tbh. I was so anxious and bombed the first question. It was something like a "Why nursing" type question, but then they asked something like, "What does resilience mean to you outside of school?" I was not prepared for it, but I authentically responded with my life experience, and I swear that is what got me in LOL
  3. I got accepted to all the CSUs you mentioned, but I picked SJSU. SFSU was an option because it's a shorter program, but SJSU is really close to where I live, just 10 minutes away. It's a great school with connections to lots of hospitals in the Bay Area, even Stanford. Fullerton and SDSU are good too, but they're far from me. If you want to work in the Bay Area where they pay well, it's smart to stay nearby.
  4. I got in with 79 points ??
  5. I believe they already sent out all the decisions emails. check your email (including spam), if not you will need to contact them.
  6. Opps let me go ahead and decline the offer (I got in somewhere else). I be forgetting people are waiting! Sorry
  7. Hii... thank You so much for the feedback. I would like to know what hospitals do you guys do clinical other than stanford? I also didn't see preceptorship on the Roadmap during the 4th semester. There is classes that you take during that semester; how does the preceptorship goes alongside that? I also am accepted to SJ and other 5 CSUs but I really want the 2yrs program in SF. I also live in SJ; I will either commute or move there.
  8. I just want to get over with in 2 years ?
  9. These are actually good points. Where are you commuting from? I live 10 mins from sjsu LOL
  10. Not yet. Am still trying to reach out someone who go to SFSU. I need to ask some questions and get some advice. There is one student on Tiktok that goes by "Nurse Zoey" (@nurse.zoey) could you guys try to DM her and ask about clinicals, preceptorship and more?
  11. A couple of us might decide to stick with SJ and that will open spots in SFSU for the waitlisted. Hopefully you get in. Do you know the schedule of SFSU and SJSU? You said you prefer SF's schedule and am curious to know.
  12. Guys... this is what I heard on one of the facebook groups and I can't verify it with current SFSU student. Need to confirm about the preceptorship situation too.
  13. I just got the email too
  14. I got in too! Now someone please help me decide between SJSU and SFSU LOL
