Hello. Any applied to start at sjvc in April? Applications close this Friday

Hi guys, I applied at the Visalia location. Interviewed on February 3rd. My GPA is a 3.6 with a 70% on the TEAS. I was also told we would hear back by February 21st. I have tried emailing and calling to confirm when they will notify us but no one has gotten back to me yet. Has anyone heard anything different about when they would tell us?

Do we know if they notify us regardless of if we are accepted or rejected? I know the community programs only notify you if you're accepted

They notify you. My friend went through the program and said you get an email regardless

Near me the community programs notify us regardless of acceptance. We just get a letter in the mail though of denial. I've gotten two of those before LOL

Fresno City said they won't notify you, so that gives me more anxiety LOL. If they are still doing interviews today then hopefully we hear back soon 🤞🏼

Hi all I submitted my application on 1/30, interviewed 2/6 and just got my admissions call 2/25! 89% on TEAS and 3.5 GPA

The financial aid advisor didn't run my credit or anything. She just stated that base on my financial aid portal I was offer $28k through federal loan. The remaining of $55k would need to come out of pocket or I can applied for third party loan through sallie mae if I qualify. If not I would have to pay $3k every month until I am don't with the program.

I know a private loan may seem daunting but in the end, it will be worth it if you play your cards right. If you consider what an RN in California makes per year you could pay off your debt it 1-3 years depending on how much you are paying it down. Unfortunately, I used my federal Finacial aid on a degree I won't use but at the end of the day it will be worth it.

I have not heard anything! I'm thinking the same thing... we should hear back tomorrow, hopefully. The anticipation is killing me!
