San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) RN Program Spring 2025

Published

Hello. Any applied to start at sjvc in April? Applications close this Friday

No it was just me but but we did just an estimate.

So if you go back with your partner do they do a hard pull on the credit to see what you can qualify for?

Or should I say co-signed not partner as I don't know your status LOL

The financial aid advisor didn't run my credit or anything. She just stated that base on my financial aid portal I was offer $28k through federal loan. The remaining of $55k would need to come out of pocket or I can applied for third party loan through sallie mae if I qualify. If not I would have to pay $3k every month until I am don't with the program.

So you applied through Sallie Mae?

I'd apply through Sallie Mae and see if you are approved. For me 3k a month wouldn't be doable

Not yet. Im waiting to hear back from 2 other community college so I don't think SJVC will workout out for me.

Wait the program is 83k? I thought it was 75. Still a lot either way but more than I thought. I'm getting nervous

That's a good idea. I applied to pc but I doubt I'll get in

No it's only $75k. sorry for the confusion I meant I was qualify for $20k in federal loan not $28k.

Thank you for sharing that information with us. Will you be attending the Visalia or Ontario location?

Same LOL 😁 let's hope for the best ❤️

Will you any of you still be working while going to school?

At the ontario one.

I  had my interview for Visalia on February 3rd. Let me know if anyone receives word if they were accepted or rejected, because they told me I'd hear back by February 21st so now I'm stressing out 🥲 I have a 4.0 GPA and got a 74 on my TEAS so I'm hoping my score was high enough to get a seat. Good luck everyone!

I had my interview today and financial aid told me by the end of this week we should know who got in or not. I'm waiting to see if I even got accepted to pull my credit for Sallie Mae. I only got 20k in federal loans so I need to come up with 43k. FAFSA gave me 7
