Hey there! Is anyone else applying for Delta College's nursing program for Spring 2019? This is my first round of applications so I'm really anxious and excited at the same time. What are your stats? I am also applying to American River College in Sacramento Ca where I live. Best of luck to you all!
Since people doing the fast track had signed up on the regular schedule (because the fast track people hadn't been announced) they were waiting for the 20 people to be picked to remove them from those classes, after that there will be room for the regular schedule students. They told the people who are on the fence about the fast track program that they had till today to decide, so I'm guessing next week everything will be settled.
Thank you for the feedback!
I was confused about that as well. I took anatomy at Delta back in 2014 but they offered the class separately. I retook the series over here in Sacramento but they offer it together. I got a C in 2014 but an A in the first portion last year. I think we are supposed to enter in the passing grade and on the next page it asks for repeats I believe. I haven't gotten to the next page yet.
You would use the A since you took it at a different district/school so its not considered repeating.
Hey guys I just got accepted from the waitlist (#6) im so behind and confused. Can someone please answer my questions: do i have to get the TB test, hep B, varicella,, TDap and MMR??? Also, do we have to have our BLS by the 14th? And is anyone here a CNA that got the NSO insurance.. how much was it?

You should have received a student information packet; but yes you do need to get a two step TB, hep B, varicella, TDap, and MMR. I would start right away because the two step TB takes about two weeks to complete and if you don't show immunity for something you are going to have to get more shots and then repeat the titers to prove you now have immunity. It says in the packet that we need to have our BLS by the 14th, but seeing as you just got accepted you obviously haven't had a lot of time to meet these requirements by the due dates. I would call the health sciences office with any questions you have, I would think they would give you an extension. The NSO insurance is $35 per year.
Did any other people get in from the waitlist?
How many people from the alternate list got into the fast track? I just got the schedule last night ( I had counted my points wrong, so I'm in) I still haven't done my drug test and they didn't like my TB paperwork, so I have to get that fixed before Friday.

I was alternate number 5, and I made it in. I got my schedule this morning. :)
