San Joaquin Delta College Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey there! Is anyone else applying for Delta College's nursing program for Spring 2019? This is my first round of applications so I'm really anxious and excited at the same time. What are your stats? I am also applying to American River College in Sacramento Ca where I live. Best of luck to you all!

Ok I will try opening it up in a different browser to see if that fixes the problem

This is my first round of applications as well. I'm both excited and nervous! I don't have the best points, but I'm a little hopeful as Delta is accepting an extra 20 students this round due to a grant they received.

Good luck, everyone!

You would just use your FIRST passing grade (so your "C")

However, I do not think your "A" would be considered a repeat. A repeat is if your first attempt was a D, F, W or NP and you retake that class for a passing grade.

That's what I heard! That's awesome. Did you hear about the fast track option for spring? I read about it on here but didn't see anything on their website about it. I will send an email to the department to see forsure.

That was probably a post from me that you saw í ½í¸Š That info I heard from both a counselor and their informational meeting back in March (the speaker was talking about the next application period). There is another meeting Sept 11 at 5:30 for questions and general info for the current period!

my friend is currently doing the fast track. She says it isn't THAT bad and it's 4 days a week with 2 weeks off in between semesters. No summer off. She says if she studies the weekend before an exam she does well. She says clinicals are long hours, but I work on call already, so working for 12 hours isn't a big deal. When i started this job ever minute was eternal, but now 12 or 15 hours fly by, so I don't think that would be the worst thing for me... driving from downtown sac will!

Is anyone going to that meeting on Tuesday?. I am... since I have no experience applying outside of the Los rios district I don't know what I'm doing.

So is the fast track offered in both Fall and Spring semester? Is that how Delta does their program? I would be driving from Rancho Cordova. But I also have family in Elk Grove and Tracy so I will figure something out. I hope I can get into ARC. That would make my life much easier.

Count me in, I am also applying for the first time. I have spent the last year using this website watching other peoples stats, so this is exciting to finally make it on here! My points are not super great because I didnt do so well on the TEAS.. I am applying with 65.5 points with only a 72% on my TEAS; however I have seen people get accepted with 64 points. I am going to retake the exam in January if I dont get accepted in November.

When you apply, what folder do you click on? I clicked on Spring 2019 and it said it was unrecognized, but it let me on Thursday log in and save my application. Anyone else have this problem?

There's also the test folder I clicked on and it worked to log on, but I'm pretty sure I don't apply through that one.

Is anyone else having the problem in opening up their application..i entered login information n it keep saying invalid login..

Me too!
