Hey everyone I can't seem to find a forum for the Fall 2019 application for Delta so I thought I'd create one. I applied already. I like the way the new application is set up online. It was clearer to me this time around. I'm curious as to how many points everyone is applying with. ?

I don’t really know too many specifics, but I have a friend who graduated may 2018 who said while it was difficult she was still able to maintain her social life and work part time.
While she was in the program you had to maintain a 75% or higher, and the semesters were split in half. So essentially a quarter system without officially being so.
Side note, nosing around the summer catalog there’s a “Healthcare Study Skills” course specifically for psych tech and RN students. No course code available yet (so no one can add it).
I want to be as prepared as possible but this class is 8 weeks long, from 8am-12pm Tuesday-Friday!! No idea what they could possibly be going over for 16 hours/week for 8 weeks. I think my time would be better spent working as much as I’d like to take it.
Here’s the course description
Course Description:
An introductory course designed to enhance study skills for nursing or psychiatric technician students who have been admitted to either program. Topics will include an overview and orientation to both programs, discussions on professionalism, time management, and student expectations which are delineated in the Student Handbooks. An orientation to technological platforms utilized in the health care curriculum, program-specific assignments, critical thinking, and effective learning as well as test-taking strategies geared to optimize student performance will be explored.
