Hi everybody, I decided to make a thread for everyone applying to SJDC's nursing program for the Fall 2017 semester. This is a good space to collaborate and share information, exchange scores, etc etc

The application was supposed to open "the first week of February", and today is the 7th but there is still no application or update of any kind on the site. Does anybody have any information about this? I'm getting anxious checking every day and I just want to apply already!

I understand this question doesn't have a one-size-fits-all answer, but does anyone know how manageable a part time job would be while in the program? I've been trying to get an idea of my schedule for the first semester and how many hours I could realistically work without it compromising my performance in school.

That would be great! I can rarely post here from my phone. For some reason even when I login, when I try to comment, it just continually requests that I sign in again.

Hello everybody! So excited for this fall! Has anybody gotten their packet of requirements to complete this summer yet? Or know when they are going to be emailed?

I called them on Monday about the packet. They said it should be out sometime this week. That being said when I talked to them previously they said it would be out by last Friday. Fingers crossed it will come out this week!

The packet says the TB screening, physical exam form and vaccines are due by 6/21. That's in two weeks, but the 2-step TB test takes 2-3 weeks. I called Health Science Dept and was told that as long as they receive TB screening results by mid-July I'll be okay. The first page of the packet says deadlines are strictly enforced. This all makes me so nervous, but I have no choice! Is anyone else able to get their TB screening done quicker?

Now hold on, why is it saying we had to have our background check and drug screening done by May 24?! Was anyone aware of this?

I called to ask about that. The packet was late getting emailed out to us. Therefore, the dates are off. A second email shoukd reflect the change of dates. I was forewarned that Delta's program is very disorganized, looks like not much has changed.
