San Joaquin Delta College Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everybody, I decided to make a thread for everyone applying to SJDC's nursing program for the Fall 2017 semester. This is a good space to collaborate and share information, exchange scores, etc etc

The application was supposed to open "the first week of February", and today is the 7th but there is still no application or update of any kind on the site. Does anybody have any information about this? I'm getting anxious checking every day and I just want to apply already!

I called to ask about that. The packet was late getting emailed out to us. Therefore, the dates are off. A second email shoukd reflect the change of dates. I was forewarned that Delta's program is very disorganized, looks like not much has changed.

I'm going into second semester, it's still just as unorganized.

Hi everyone! With registration getting closer, has anyone decided where they would like to do their clinicals yet? I'm thinking St. Joseph's but I haven't decided for sure yet

Do manteca with Malloy!

St joes doesn't let students into the OR or let you see any procedures from what I've heard from my classmates.

I'm sooo sad they added Fridays to our school schedule

What?! Where did you hear this? I thought it was M-F. I may have to pull a switcharoo and go to MJC's program instead. Glad I turned in my supporting documents, yesterday!

Will you post a link to this scheduling info?

It was mon-thur but they added Fridays to the schedule. It's on the adn001 schedule :(

I, for the life of me, cannot find the schedule. I beg you, please post the link or help me find it. Thank you!

Nevermind, found it!

Does anyone know anything about Lodi?

Did you all complete clinical requirements? They are due tomorrow, correct? What exactly is a "negative titer decision"?

All done here !

Did one of your titers come back low/neg? I need to redo my Hep B series, had to fill out a declination form so I can start while I finish the series.
