San Joaquin Delta College ADN Fall 2023

Published

Hello Everyone! Just starting a thread for San Joaquin Delta College RN program. Hope to hear from everyone applying! Does anyone know when the application period is going to be for fall 2023?

Do we have to submit physical transcript and electronic transcript ? Anyone knows ? Thanks

Did anyone send their TEAS scores to Delta already? If yes, how do we know if they received it?

I did, it will show

Thanks!

Hello everyone ?, I just got invited to submit my backup documentation too. I applied with 83 points. I am confident about my points, but I am super nervous of making a mistake on any parts of the application process.

Eeek ??

Don't you submit the results upon being invited to submit additional documentation?

If your university is one that uses physical transcripts then you submit that (this applies to a handful of universities that haven't adopted electronic transcripts).

Most universities in 2023 use electronic transcript clearinghouses so your transcripts will be electronically submitted to SJDC.

The same applies to TEAS scores. You login to your account and have them submit an electronic report to SJDC.

I submitted when I submitted my application. Tbh, IDK what Delta wants actually.

I took my TEAS at CA Sac State university. I was told not to submit results because I'd have to pay an extra $100 and have Sac State transfer a copy of my results to Delta...only after I was invited to submit additional documentation. Im stressing so badly...not because of my points so much so, but because of the fact that I may get disqualified for some petty reason.

Thank you so much for your reply, I was so confused about physical transcript. I already transferred my transcripts to delta when I submitted my application. I don't know if I have to submit them again

Take a deep breath, you are doing everything right!

You do not submit supplemental documentation (TEAS is supplemental documentation) until after they tell you to submit it.

You and I are in the same boat. So you do what I will do, I will contact TEAS shortly and tell them to send my score to SJDC, which they will do after they take their excessively large fee for doing so.

Now I'm confused.

When you first applied to the program (the deadline for which was April 11th) did you submit transcripts then?

If so, I believe you might have to do it again.

They are very particular about when they want transcripts because they don't have the full-time staff to handle submissions that come trickling in at odd times.

That is why they make you submit a physical supplemental application with your ID and these transcripts (electronically mostly but in some cases physically) so that they can minimize transcripts getting misplaced.

As soon as you can, please contact a nursing counselor in-person at DeRicco 234, by phone at (209) 954-5151 ext. 6276, or by chat via https://deltacollege.edu/student-services/counseling-center/make-appointment-counselor and they can get it all straightened out.
