San Joaquin Delta College ADN Fall 2021 Applicants

Published

Wanted to create this board to share questions, points & help each other for the Fall 2021 application cycle to San Joaquin Delta College ADN program in Stockton, California.

Does anyone know how many students they took for this fall? I’m alternate #28. Thanks

They take 40 students for fall. How many points did you have?

Wow wow wow with 71.5 alternate #28. This application is so competitive this time. Last sem students with 65 66 got in. I was selected in fast track last sem with 75.5. And, this time I'm an alternate. Competition is on rise

For those of us who are accepted, would anyone want to make a facebook group?  Also does anyone know what our next steps are and when orientation might be?

I don’t recall people have weekend clinicals

If you create a facebook group let me know. I'm also curious about next steps, etc.

I had 69.5 points and am #38 on the alternate list. It’s crazy that there are even that many alternates available! Guessing this isn’t my time with that number....

You never know. If not, then may be next time, you'll have better chance. Next term, there'll be fast track program as well. They take 60 students(40 regular, 20 fast track). In total they take 80 for Spring term, another +20 students are from some hop program. We don't qualify for that. I think they are employees of hospitals, not sure.

It’s much more competitive in Fall than in Spring, which is another factor- I’ve heard this from others who know the nursing stats year after year and they tell me Fall is always much more competitive!

Yes the Hope program is through local hospitals and guarantees workers a spot in the program.

But from what I heard the 20 Hope spots are actually part of the 60, so they actually take 60 total and everyone else competes for just the “remaining” 40 spots in Spring, since the rest are basically given away already
