Hey guys and gals. I noticed there wasn't a thread for people applying to the Delta Nursing program for Spring 2017, yet, so I thought I'd start one. i was wondering if you know whether or not the due dates on the castle branch website are correct? It says that they are due by the 30th of this month. I am close to having everything complete but the tb test will take me almost to the very end of the due dates....

In case anyone is curious, I stopped by the nursing department today and inquired about the stats for this semesters accepted applicants.

The point cutoff this semester was 60.

thanks smoraes12 for the stat data. @ kedevinva26- that is a good question. Because the program booklet says the clinical requirements are due january 4th. NOV30th seems too soon, but It is a good question to ask the nursing department. I just did my drug test today and almost done with the background. Did you already get Liability Insurance?

Okay, I will have to give them a call tomorrow. The liability quote came to 29 but I wanted to wait until all the immunizations are complete. I just submitted them to be filled out today.

Has anyone done the BLS for healthcare providers or do you have a reccommnedation? It would be great if some of us could do it together. I called the office and we need to do this on our own, they don't offer anything for us as a group. I had read somewhere that they may have offered it in the past.

I live in elk grove but mine is already scheduled for tomorrow. It's 69 for the class 20 for the book and 3 hours. It would have been cool to do it together and meet each other.

I am new to this thread. But I was wondering if there was anyone that applied for the LVN to RN bridge program for the Spring 2017 semester?

Did you happen to call the nursing dept about the dates?

Yes I did... I got an answer that sounded not very certain. She said that she thinks it would be the date on January 4th, and I told her that I didn't want to go with that date if it wasn't certain. So she said that she would have to email them to inform them (meaning nursing staff) of the dates, she also said that the dates would either change on mycb or to call back in a week or so to see if there are any updates??? So im going to get everything done by the 30th just in case..

Thanks! yeah me too! Its plenty enough time, my background completed, cpr I did a few months ago, just the immunizations and physical and awaiting drug test results. when do you register for classes?
