San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2016 Applicants

Hey guys!

So I made this thread so that anyone applying to SJDC for spring semester 2016 can post with any questions, and fingers crossed, we all get in and can get to know each other a little bit :)

If you don't mind posting your scores, what are you points? I calculated mine and I am at 57 points, so i'm a little worried.

Does anyone know what the point cut offs were for the last couple semesters? And how low did they go down to after people either declined or accepted their spots?

Did you guys get an email verifying acceptance of your application? I have a bad feeling that mine didn't go through because their system was having issues...

Oh no! Yes, I got an email immediately after I submit my online app. In that email was a link with a username/password to use to check app status

Yeah, I don't get it. I know it definitely went through! I tried to go back in the application and it would not let me because it was already submitted. I emailed them, so I guess that I will know more tomorrow.

Hey guys. I was ask to send in my documents. question. They are asking for "COURSE DESCRIPTIONS" for each course not taken at SJDC. can someone tell me an example of these course descriptions and where i can acquire them. thank you

I believe you can get your course descriptions by going to the college catalog for the school you went to. I simply went on my college website and accessed the specific year catalog for each of my prerequisite descriptions and printed the page from there. SJDC does want the course description out of the same catalog for the year you took the course that you are providing the description for. Hope this helps.

Can anyone help me? I'm confused about the 9x12 envelope. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Are they asking for those big yellow ones or a regular envelope???

They mean the big yellow ones. Those big yellow ones come in multiple sizes so they are asking for the 9x12 yellow one, I've seen them in white before too.

I'm currently in the Delta ADN program in the 3rd semester. I was originally turned down when I applied and months later got a call about a spot opening up so don't give up hope if you get turned down at first. My total score was 56 so don't get discouraged guys!
