San Joaquin Delta College ADN 2011 Fall

Has anyone applied for the program?

Nice to "meet" you all, as well!

I, too, received the automated email just after I submitted my application. I like that SJDC looks at merit considering that most other schools are strictly lottery. I, too, am depending on my GPA, TEAs, and a few other factors. I have been checking my SDJC email everyday, even though it is not the deadline yet - you know, just in case! I have so far heard excellent things about this college, which is great! I'll let you all know if I hear anything more ;)

Same here, checking delta e-mail everyday. I hope we will get an email during the week of 25th. I like delta very much, and it is closer to my home. I did my prerequisite at delta too . I have also heard excellent things about nursing program at delta.

Did u finished your prereq at delta too???

Dear NBB2013, nice to "meet" you, thank you for providing us the information. Best of luck!

nursetobe013,

It is so nice to be able to talk to other applicants.

There are a lot of unknowns and uncertainty that can cause stress, but it helps to know that you are not the only one.:)

If you have good GPA,TEAS, and a language, I believe that you have very good chance. If someone was able to score all points of all categories, she/he would be going to UCSF.

I've received a confirmation email from Delta right after I submitted online application.

Now I am getting together documents and transcripts in case I hear back at the end of this month.

I have 78.5 points and grade B in English 1A sad.png. I made an appointment with counselor thinking I did so much of

hardwork to do everything right just to have only 78.5 points in the end. I was thinking that is not sufficient, and I was also worried about not having any clinical experience or degrees. But the counselor said that these are good points, and I have a good chance to get in. I am little positive now.

I did not do my pre-reqs at Delta. I did mine at ARC (in Sacramento), since I currently live here for work reasons. I would like to be able to move back to the East Bay with the parents, though ;) Scoring in the high 70s is good, I believe, so good luck to you!

I took my pre-reqs at Las Positas in Livermore.

nursetobe013, I think 78 is a great score!

@nursetobe013

Haha. I have the same amount of points as you! Hopefully, 78.5 will be our lucky number. XD

Good luck to you too!

i am currently in the program..going into Nsg.2 next week. I love it so far the professors are so wonderful. Good luck to everyone who are applying.

That's so great to hear! A school with excellent teachers is an important quality. May I ask of your opinion of what is a good score to be admitted?

Thanks!

I really don't know and I never think to count my total score before. Is that help if i tell you I have a previous degree, my pre-req's are all A's, speak another language, CNA. TEAS score is in the 90's. We are 68 in the class 2 dropped d/t personal reasons. I applied 2 times at SJDC.

Good Luck to you!!!

It's great to hear that there are great professors at SJDC.

Giulistudentnurse, wow, your background is impressive!

I have significantly less experience, but I'm crossing my fingers.

Well, I hope we all hear back this week.

Good luck!
