San Jacinto College ADN - Fall 2020

This is my first time using this site. But I’m in the process of applying to the San Jacinto College ADN program.
my grades are:

English: B

AP1: A

AP2: B

Micro: B

Science GPA: 3.27

HESI: 91.2

I’ve been to one other college besides San Jac, so I don’t know my exact cumulative GPA, but it’s between 2.9-3.1

my current ruberic is a 21 not counting my GPA.

My real concern is if I should apply ASAP, or will I be ok waiting about a week for my CNA license to become current, and also, what are my chances of getting in? Thanks for any responses!

Hey this is my first time posting as well. I usually come on here and see what others are saying about their current situations. Today I mailed in my application FINALLY! My Score was a 20. I didn't get the veterans points nor was I eligible for the License points. I am honestly nervous and scared but I think that we are at an advantage seeing that the World going through difficult times maybe they will have some mercy on us and accept us all?.

I'm not sure what my science GPA is but my overall cumulative GPA is a 3.3

HESI: 87

so my score came out to a 20.

I normally come here to see other people’s experiences as well LOL. Your science GPA and Cumulative are really good! You have a nice HESI score too! I’m sure we’ll be OK. I’m just nervous with this whole process. Good luck to you, hopefully I’ll be seeing you!

Your Scores are really good as well. I'm Sure we will be okay also. The due date has been extended to may 11th so I'm hoping there are others who are applying as well that will reach out to us through this website. Good luck to you and I'm more than sure we will be seeing each other once our semester starts.

Hey have y’all I applied for fall 2020. I submitted my application like three weeks ago. I’m unsure if I sent it in right. I didn’t have sealed copies of my transcript due to covid 19 the schools aren’t opened. Do y’all know who I can contact?

You should contact Mrs. ****** or Mrs. ****** first to let them know what’s going on. Let them know you can’t get copies because schools are closed and they should be able to help you from there. I’m sorry to hear that though, I hope it all works out!

I will have to email them?

Do you have to complete castle branch too as a part of their application?

Hello how are you. I turned in my application about two weeks ago. After realizing that I was unable to get a sealed copy of my transcript I emailed ms.******** and she told me that the transcript that I sent via online for being accepted into the general college of San Jac is okay and that they would use that for the ADN program.

@dmurray16 the names are being blocked out. Do I need to let them know? I emailed the nursing email that was on the top of the application. How did you send your HESI scores? And do I need to complete the castle branch before the 11th? Can you send me a private message on what email to email

I honestly blocked out her name myself. I seen someone else block out a name so I thought maybe that was appropriate LOL. But if you go onto the San Jac ADN website you can find the person you are supposed to email if you have such questions. You are to email the person who your last name starts with. For instance, my last name starts with an M so I have been in contact with the lady who’s is in charge of the last names that begin with M. She also responds very fast. And I’m not sure about when castle branch is due BUT I’m trying to have it done at least by the 11th. You know just Incase. I also printed out my HESI scores and just put it in the packet just in case. I know that it says that the HESI scores maybe turned in once the campus opens. So once I read the “maybe” I just put it in the packet because it wouldn’t hurt. I will send you a private message and send you your link on who to email.

Hi guys, I'm planning on mailing my application either today or tomorrow. I have all of the necessary documents already and CastleBranch done. But I realized the application says "you must have an ADN transcript evaluation before applying". Does anyone know how I go about doing that? Do I still need an ADN evaluation if I completed all my pre-reqs at San Jac?
