Hey everyone! I noticed there wasn't a topic for San Jacinto so I made one. I'm applying to Central campus and want to apply to North, but I've noticed there application isn't up yet! Who else is applying?

Hey! I’m also applying! I’m applying for central campus. Have you started your shots yet? I also have to retake the HESI. I took it when I applied to UT Cizik and made a 93 overall, but unfortunately for San jac all categories even the reading subcategories have to be above a 75. I ended up making a 94 in the reading section with all A’s in the subcategories except one I made a 69 ? so I’m having to retake to bring up that one subcategory.

Hey! Yes, I’ve done everything! Just waiting on the castlebranch urine panel results. Oh no! I hope you pass all sections! Central offers the HESI through Prometric

The HESI through Prometric cost almost $200. Does anyone know a cheaper way to take the test? Last semester SanJac offered it through ProctorU, and it was very cheap. When I emailed the nursing department about it, she did say that we were allowed to take the HESI elsewhere as long as it followed SanJac's guidelines. If you know of any online or in person cheaper testing centers, I would love to know about them.

Hi ya'll. Does anyone know if a HESI cumulative score has .60 does is round up? Thank you in advance

HCC offers it through Proctor U! Much cheaper choice too

Thank you so much for the tip. Do you mind telling me how to set that up? I tried to schedule an exam through ProctorU and it said HCC didn't have any exams listed.

If there are no exams listed, then theyr'e probably not doing it online anymore? I did my HESI exam in August and I was trying to reschedule it for September, and it only showed dates for August. : ( Have you checked with HCC to see if they're providing the test?

When looking up the HCC HESI, it said they were currently testing remotely and gave an email to contact: [email protected]. I emailed them, so I'll let u know what they respond with

Does anyone know if when I retake HESI I can just take the sections I want/need? For example, just the critical thinking portion and reading? I know some schools will allow that, but I am not sure if San jac does. I passed my HESI the first time, but I didn’t take critical thinking and I want to raise my score for reading so that’s mainly what I’ve been focusing on this time around.

Yes you can retake only the sections you need but it’s the same price as the whole test if you’re taking it through Prometrics! I’m retaking certain sections and had to pay full price!

Hi everyone! I’m applying to the Central and North campus. I take my HESI on the 13th of October! Any tips for math section?

Hi everyone so we have to submit a separate transcript with the admission form
