San Jacinto Central - ADN program Spring 2020

Hi everyone,

I opened this thread to see what is everyone doing to prepare for their applications.

I currently have 23 points based on the rubric from SanJac and will submit my application for the Spring 2020.

I was waitlisted for this Fall so I will be applying for the Spring (fingers crossed I get in this time!)

MedicNurse13 how many points did you have when you apply for Fall?

Honestly I didn’t even look. I was just making sure I had everything and then left ? I had As in my sciences (micro in progress) my HESI was 89.2 with 920 in cognitive thinking. I bet if I made an A in the HESI I would’ve made the cut

My friend had 88 in Hesi and As in science but AP1 was B and still already got accepted! That’s weird that you have straight As but did not get in.

I think I was waitlisted bc my micro is in progress ??‍♀️ I mean vs someone who has all the classes completed you know?

Her AP2 class was in progress too. She took Micro before AP2. I don’t understand why ? I’m confused now.

Well I just finished AP2 I still have to take micro this summer so technically 2 in progress?

Yes! That’s why

Hmmm well I have an A in AP2 took my final last week. I just don’t know how far down the waitlist I am? I’m going up there tomorrow to ask.

Good for you! Keep updating please!

@medicNurse13

you applied for LVN to ADN right? I believe that is a different program than just ADN.

I applied for Fall 2019 ADN program at both central and north. North will be sending emails out at the end of this month. Central I think at the end of June. I also applied for the LVN program at South for my backup, incase I do not get into ADN. I did get accepted for the LVN! Now just waiting to hear back about the ADN program.
