San Jacinto College ADN Spring 2019

Anyone else applying to San Jac Spring 2019? Application dates are August 6, 2018 - October 8, 2018.

My rubric is currently 17 but I am in the middle of APII and taking Micro in the fall; that's an additional 2-6 points. HESI is 90.4.

I received an acceptance letter this morning. See y'all in Jan :)

If any of you have any questions in regards to those attachments in the email you receive , please ask me and I'll be more than happy to answer your questions. You are able to email your advisors but sometimes they are overwhelmed with work and take some time to reply.

When they said to bring a passport photo with us to orientation, where do you get that done at? That's the only thing I didn't get. It wasn't mentioned anywhere except under the things we need to bring with us.

Do you remember the main things they went over in orientation? Also do we have to buy a stethoscope through San Jac or can we buy our own? Thanks!

You can buy any stethoscope you like. All the supplies are actually not from San Jac directly but through a third part. Basically at the orientation they will go over textbooks, rules, dress code , schedules, names of the professors, grades, BON, delta rho kappa will be doing a presentation. There will also be a presentation from Be the Match. They will also be taking about Hesi

I suggest you guys start learning your cranial nerves. That is something you will need to get down from day one.

No, you will get schedules about two weeks before class starts. They will tell you two different schedule times which unfortunately you will not be able to choose the time you prefer.

Will they also send out rejection letters as well? I'm just curious. I'm still waiting to see if I got in or not.

Yes they do send rejection emails after they have sent out all acceptances

I called and spoke with Ira Robins and asked if any acceptances or denials had been sent out for A-K and she said not yet, it just depends when they give them to her to send out so I guess they are only doing the other last names for now.
