San Jacinto College ADN Spring 2019

Published

Anyone else applying to San Jac Spring 2019? Application dates are August 6, 2018 - October 8, 2018.

My rubric is currently 17 but I am in the middle of APII and taking Micro in the fall; that's an additional 2-6 points. HESI is 90.4.

Hi guys. Thanks to Jesus I got accepted into the program. It is all glory to God! To those who haven't received anything yet don't lose hope. I will be praying for you guys.

My stats:

Rubric Score-21 or 22

GPA: unknown, since they had to calculate my GPA's from san jac and another school I attended.

Hesi score: 89 (turned in two scores)

Micro: A

API: B

APII: A (retake)

English: A

Can someone help me on how we are supposed to email to confirm our acceptance. Do they want it all typed on the subject line? Thank you.

Congratulations!

I already confirmd my acceptance and they confirmd it as well. yes I did use the subject line for:

I confirmd acceptence, G#, and I do have health insuarance.

and in the Email body I wrote a short statment that I accepted the offer.

And YES guys don't lose hope yet, they just started sending Emails.

I emailed Confirmation Accepted in subject (or the exact wording they requested) anf the rest of the info in the body of email. I immediately got a response back saying that they received my acceptance and to make sure I read all the attachments.

Thank you guys!

Did you fgure out how to do BON? I couldn't see any link.

On the letter it says that our names were submitted to the Texas Board of Nursing in November 2018.

"To be eligible for spring 2019 registration, you will need to complete and pass a criminal background check through the Texas Board of Nursing's background process, and with CastleBranch, using code"

i think we still need to do the fingerprint to receive the card .

I found that also when i was doing my research :New/Accepted Student Criminal Background Check Process

Step One:

The Texas based nursing program submits the New/Accepted Student Roster to the BON.

Step Two:

BON staff enters the data into our internal fingerprint database. This step is what adds them to the list with MorphoTrust.

Step Three:

BON staff sends an email to the designated contact at the school advising that the roster has been entered into our system.

Step Four:

The school provides the Service Code Form (Formerly known as a Fast Pass) to the students listed on the roster and advises them to schedule their fingerprinting.

Step Five:

The BON receives information from The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding the criminal background check (CBC) results and staff inputs this data within ten business days.

Step Six:

Effective 9/24/17, the BON no longer issues End of Month Reports: an email was sent to the Deans and Directors of the nursing programs in this regard.

we are on step four , I .guess so

I thought they would send our names to The Texas Board of Nursing and we wait until we receive our cards. Then we do another background check later on. But I would wait Monday to ask and make sure. I wouldn't worry about it now since we just received our acceptance letters and I am sure there are more to be sent out next week.

I think, I'm just over exited LOL. I guess , need to wait.

I got accepted!! I got my email at 1:45 pm and my last name starts with M. My score was a 22. So glad this horrible wait is over!!!
