Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program? Also, when applying will you be using option A, B or both? Lets talk about it here. :redbeathe

Fall 2009 started getting acceptance letters the last week of June. That wouldn't be too long of a wait for us. They should start sending the application email confirmations shortly. Just a few more weeks till we know!!!

Hey everybody!

Its been only the 2nd day of june right?...I know of students who applied at 4:30 p.m yesterday. So you see..now that they have closed the application time... they will eventually get in to the jazz! So take heart! After being free in a long time.. i still cannot seem to sleep at 10 p.m..my timing is 2a.m or 3a.m ..why oh why:bugeyes:..

Oh my, me too!!! Everyday, I'm having trouble falling asleep and now that I think about it started 5/31...I don't fall asleep until around 3:30am....it's killing me bc I have to come to work. I was thinking, what is wrong with me but now that you have mentioned it...now, I know why!!! It's bc I'm anxious and stressing without even thinking about it.

hello everyone, I guess I'm like everyone looking at my email every hour hoping for good news, I want to call and see the status but I'm afraid. I applied under option b with a 4.0 on my reqs and 3.85 over all gpa. hope I get in. I wonder how many students they are accepting for fall.

Usually they accept around 100...and yes I've been checking my email constantly also!!! ugh hate waiting:grn:hopefully my summer class will take my mind off of things a bit

I was told they only have 100 slots open this Fall. Last Fall they had approx 165 slots and over 600 applicants. All we can do is wait and hope for the best. I'm trying to remain positive and hope that July comes quickly!

When I applied last fall they had I think 400-500 applicants and took 120 people and that was including the transition students. I know its hard to wait but find something to occupy your time because checking your email everyday is going to drive you nuts. I believe I got my email at the end of June and it was later in the evening time when I found out so they must have been working late. A girl I know had not heard anything and at the last minute like two days before orientation they called her because someone turned their spot down. San Jac isn't like other schools they do not let you know if you are on their alternate list and the worst part is when everyone starts talking about how they got in and you still haven't received your email because they send them out in batches.

As far as the program goes, its not that bad so far just very stressful and time consuming. It's different from other schooling so once you get past that first test as long as you stay on track you should be fine. Good luck to you all.

I applied for the fall 2010 as well. No confirmation e-mail or anything yet, I am so anxious! I had a 4.0 on option B and 3.52 overall GPA. I am checking my e-mail all the time too. (I think we all do.) Good luck to all of y'all! :) Is anyone taking pharm right now? I considered it but decided to try and work as much as I could this summer to save up as I will be quitting my job if I get accepted.

Thanx for the updates. Keep it coming friend. And whoaaaa...400-500 applicants????? R u kidding me??? I guess its big time that SJC start the programs in North(heard they will be starting one there) and South too..eh! Woow..now I see a reason to stay more awake...and alert!

Yep there we go..now we are on the same page!!

If anyone knows or has a suggestion about taking a pharmacology class ..who knows of a good instructor or school? I was thinking of Lee. But some of my friends suggest some place else..and then I would end up thinking..why not an online class?? And now I end up killing my soul stressing about it. Its like adding fuel to the fire! Any suggestions are welcome.

Hmm I had no clue that you could take Pharm over the summer???!!! Do you have to sign up at sjc??

At the information session you could select that you were interested in taking pharm over the summer. They said they'd offer it this summer for those who applied for the fall if enough people were interested. Not sure if they did or not, though.

O yes I forgot about that! It seemed like there were a lot of checks but i figured they would let us know... I just checked my SOS and it won't allow me to check any of the pharm classes so I guess it's a negative.
