San Jacinto ADN Spring 2012

Published

Anyone applying for the spring semester!!

I know!!!! I'm worried that I will not get my full amount because SOS/ADN Dept. is only allowing me to register for 2 classes (1/2 time). I hope this changes soon. Have you heard from Mrs. Newby?? I emailed her prior to the holidays and I still have not heard from her.

I called her several times today during my breaks at work, but every time her assistant said that she was helping another student. She must be really busy right now, but with no classes, i'm freaking out! =(

I was okay until I recieved an automated voicemail notifing me that I hadn't paid my tuition for Spring 2012 when in fact I have. I'm hoping this is an error. We'll see what happens. I'm sure you are not the only one with your issue. Did you try asking the assistant what her thoughts were on your situation? If you don't get answers soon, I would go to the ADN dept and wait to speak to Ms. Newby.

haha i asked the assistant and she said she couldn't help me with registration issues. I won't be moving to Pasadena (I live in Dallas) until the week before school starts... so I can't go into the the ADN department.

So what are the two classes you have gotten into already? what are the other two that you all are waiting on?

like what are the class codes of the classes you have gotten into already/still waiting on?

thank you so much for posting the list of textbooks by the way! it's a great help so I can get onto ordering them! =]

I'm not at home so I can't see at this moment, but I'll let you know. About the shoes, I found all white sneakers but the bottom sole is black. Do any of you think that is or will be an issue? I have really hard feet to fit and when I find a pair of shoes I want to buy 2-4 pairs. Any thoughts?

I really don't think the bottom of the shoe should be such a big deal. Okay I am in a major stump!!! The place where i get my shots done have stopped giving hep A and B and chicken pox vaccines, so i can't finish my series there! It's because of a budget cut :( does anyone know where i can get my shots finished up along with the titers for a decent price. Shots are too damn expensive :(((

Do you have insurance?? I went to RediClinic (inside HEB) to get my Hep A. I know that you can other vaccines there as well. Insurance paid for my vaccine(s). If you don't have insurance you may have to pay ALOT for the vaccines. I know there is a place here in Houston that you could go to that offers lab testing and vaccines for students. Where do you live?

CC that happened to me yesterday. My clinic said that they only have a restricted number of Hep A & B to give out and will only be giving the vaccine to ppl who have already started the series (no newbies). You might want to ask again nicely about it! I found Walgreens to be the cheapest regarding vaccines, the varricella was $145 (CVS doesn't carry it and HEB is $169). I have no idea where we are going to go for the titers!

You all can go to AnyLabTest Now to get titers done. I believe they are all over Houston.

Does anyone know when we are suppose to pick up our lab kits/ uniforms? Or are they being mailed to us?

Nope. They said they would tell us on blackboard right? I haven't seen it yet.
